    Ridiculous. Probably won't have to worry about who will pitch the 9th let alone potentially extras anymore.

    I hope he strikes out every at bat(unless he can hit into a double play), but its just because he's on the other side now. I'm glad he left because I don't think he was going to be worth the contract he was gonna sign, but hold no ill will for him.

    I could see Sal being plan C (or would it be D depending on if dunn/Capra are a single or separate plans) once Perkins is back if Durbin isn't cutting it either. Yes he's a gold glove winner, but its not like the defensive quality would go down.

    Dame has been cleared for basketball activities. Don't know what his status will be for game 1 though. At least gives me some hope if he can be near 100%.

    My read was that they are concerned about there being something worse since he had the issue last September as well. Is it just reoccurring tendinitis or is it a symptom of something worse that can get fixed easily now before it blows up his elbow.

    In a vacuum it's cool, but logistically it's weird. Having spring training and then some live games and then more spring training feels wrong. Plus, it didnt seem like the pitchers had enough time to be ready. Not to mention game times are a nightmare for most fans.

    It's almost a move they have to make. There's not gonna be a time where the staff is more rested and if you want him at all before September, that suspension needs to be cleared. The longer he goes without serving the suspension the more of an albatross it becomes.

    Tonje had the ball and was the one who initiated the early attack. I wonder if crowl lost where the clock was and assumed since tonje was going there was less time then there actually was.

    UNC almost came back. Had it at 2 with about a minute left. Just like Clemson, dug too much of a hole on the first half.

    Not only are they in last place in the central, but they are in last place in all of baseball. Currently, the cubs are the worst team in major league baseball.
