    I would use the word ugly to describe the first half, but that would insult the word ugly.

    The base running one seems silly. It would be a situation like where there's a runner on first and third with 2 outs. Runner on first goes all out to cancel the force so even when they are eventually tagged out, the runner on third will score and that run will count. Now they can review it and if the runner hadn't reached home by the time the other player is past second with both feet on the ground then the run will not count. So an extremely rare situation that seems like good coaching which will now not count.

    Now that the 2024 NFL season is officially over I set my sights on the draft. I believe we pick 24 if Washington and Minnesota win, 23 if one of them loses, or 22 if both lose?

    Jacobs was hurt trying to walk something off on the sideline, but he obviously didn't learn anything from the bears game where he did the exact same thing.

    That's the thing, they were barely able to get to the line at 15 yards, another 15 and the answer is probably not. I'm sure most of those linemen have at best 6 second 40 times, so the extra 15 yards would be at best an extra 2.25 seconds and I believe they spiked it at 2 left. The real fear would be giving up a td where they get behind you, but we played like that was our main worry.

    Looks like they came in at 9th, the win drops then to 10th since saints have a lower strength of schedule. However with a loss they would have climbed over Carolina after their win, and if the jets hang on they could have climbed to 7. So at least 2 and possibly 3 which is a couple.

    Silver lining, it didn't effect our seeding, we started the game playing like it mattered, but not after halftime, and the bears have to have dropped a few spots in draft position with that win.

    I'm not even sure I care if we win the game, but can we just get 1 stop at the end of a game when we need one to get the ball back please!

    My earliest memory of watching Badger basketball is of a Michael Finley team, probably 93 when I was 8. I distinctly remember watching the start of the next season and wondering why he wasn't on the team anymore and if we had traded him. I had no concept of pros vs college at the time. Most of my real memory of the team starts with Dick Bennet lead teams and so those 2 final 4 teams were offensive juggernauts to me in terms of badger basketball. I was shocked when I was looking back to try to answer my question of if we had ever broke 100 in conference play to see that they had only averaged in the 70s for ppg.

    That was wow. 2nd most points scored in school history, record is 120 vs SMU in 67. Breaks school record for 3s in a game. I was wondering if we had ever broken 100 in conference play and I believe this is at least the first time since 93 vs NW.

    Ohio st 31- Oregon 0 with 8 and a half minutes left in the second quarter. Wow Oregon should be ashamed.

    They got away with a hold on Gary on that play. Looked pretty obvious too, not sure how they missed it.

    With Phillys loss, it really feels like it's going to be 1 seed lions or vikings. Assuming we lose to the Vikings and end up the 7 seed or get the 6 and still have to play the 1 seed in the divisional round, I'm not sure who I'd rather face, but I'm leaning lions with all their injuries.

    No, meant it was an impressive victory even if it were to be claimed "it doesn't count" blah blah. Agreed that both teams played like they cared about winning.

    I never thought I'd see a uniform I detest more than our all whites, yet the Vikings all whites are currently accosting my eyes. It's not even because I hate the franchise, because these uniforms are making me feel sorry for their fans!😭

    It depends on how they feel about the title. LeBron put a lot of effort in for last year's NBA cup and there's no way the money mattered to him.

    I feel like it's been since our playoff match-up in our championship season that I've watched a game involving the hawks, but Trae Young kinda looks like a hobo now and the contrast of his looks from the last time I've seen him is strong.
