    What is huira contract status for next year? I'm pretty sure he's less than 6 years, but I don't know how that works after the DFA. If we do/don't add him to the 40 man this year, is he a FA next year regardless?

    He hasn't screwed up his swing by selling out for homers yet and cc is trying his best to help him get there ok. It does bother me that he's placed in a typical power spot in the lineup, though he seems so good with the bat that he can fit anywhere he's put, except the bottom cause thats just a waste.

    I can see the thought of, we are planning on adding via trade so if we bring him up now we don't get a good enough look at him and we might have to dfa him for the guy traded for and they dont want to do that if he might have figured it out. And there may have been discussion about bringing him up, but then he got injured and so this whole situation might be bad luck meets circumstance. Overall, in my opinion he was done enough to get another, last, chance, especially with where winker is at, but it has to be a solid chance where he is given the everyday dh, or 1b, job and not a start once a week and get some pinch hit opportunities. If nothing develops for a trade, dump winker and give the do to huira. He can do worse and he should be able to hit a couple over the fence at least.

    It's gonna be pretty annoying when some Shaq sized player lands on it rough and breaks it. (I'm sure it's probably touted as strong enough to withstand, but still)

    I'd assume just having the correct camera angle and the ability to have someone quickly look at it to make the determination would be sufficient.

    Have a chance to actually watch this game and fs1 is stuck on a race.

    I think its you designate them for assignment where they go through the waiver process and if they don't get claimed you then have the option to assign them to a minkr league team or release them, unless they qualify via certain metrics where they can choose free agency themselves or accept the assignment.

    Let's assume this is an actual issue. It bothers me, in that case, that he would have something that he is "fighting through" and presumably causing him to suck and he doesn't say something much sooner. Grow a pair and get healthy if you're hurt and unable to play. That being said I'm not convinced it is an actual injury.
