  1. [sarcasm]I feel so bad for them.[/sarcasm]
  2. I hope they show the comparison of vogeys feet per second velocity to yelich's from when he scored earlier.
  3. [sarcasm]Psh, lots of players have more rbi than runs given up.[/sarcasm] Yeah, that's just a crazy stat. I wonder if something like that hasn't been done for a season since some like maybe babe Ruth when he pitched. Makes me want to check on ohtani's stats.
  4. [sarcasm]Yeah the refs were there[/sarcasm]
  5. Can we not give the ball to giannis to be fouled to shoot free throws? Oh foul to give thankfully.
  6. What year is this? First to 80 wins?
  7. It wasn't necessarily the stats those 2 years, it was that he looked off, at least for him. His accuracy was questionable, especially on deep balls. There was genuine concern about if it was because of age related skill diminish.
  8. I was wondering about the phillies "4 ace" season so I looked it up. 3 of the 4 made the all star team with Oswalt being injured end of april into August. I don't have the time to look up stats to see if they "earned" it, but at least there is precedence.
  9. Which gives you Ben Sheets, Sheets had a year where he batted .134 and if you subtract Hiura's current average gets you to .07 and if you multiply that by some number you get a crazy conspiracy theory. Ben sheets has taken over huiras body in hopes of feeling what it's like to be a good hitter, but he is tanking huira instead, but can't get out now?
  10. Can he even have a new contract that gives him that type of security, where the packers don't have a cheap out like they would after this year, and its team friendly creating a bunch of cap space? It seems to me that the issue is Rodgers feels like it was always definitely the plan to jettison him after this year, because of the financials plus drafting of love and at best the wrench went into plan b, what do we do if Rodgers continues getting worse or gets hurt again.
  11. I would be surprised. It's necessary after the DH to get everyone back on 4 days rest. Then Lauer goes to the pen, where they do need another at least serviceable arm. Hasn't cc already come out and said they are basically doing a 6 man rotation this year?
  12. Very likely it was a third party seller. Wal-Mart's website is similar to Amazon/eBay where other people can sell their stuff, used or new, and set whatever price they want. I think it's just harder to spot on Wal-Mart's site. When Wal-Mart is the seller it will be for the retail (or sale) price. It might be depending on what you're using, but when you are searching it should say "sold by..." and that will give you an idea. Used to work for Walmart and the number of times I had to deal with "but its here on your website."
  13. Hm. Well, there it is then. I think that's silly in this situation bc the umpires "award" second base on these kinds of plays. It's the automatic result of the play. But whatever, right? Good win! A player still needs to touch the bases though. On a homer a player still needs to touch all the bases to get credit for it, even if they get hurt on the way around. I remember a highlight of women's college softball where 2 opponents carried a player the remainder of the way around the bases after she hit the walkoff homer and then got hurt somehow rounding the bases. If they hadn't helped her, she only would have gotten credit as far as she made on her own and the game would have continued with a pinch runner.
  14. That also seems kind of silly as well. It's the draft! Every player should wake up that day knowing their replacement could be drafted that day. Also, I doubt the packers went into the draft thinking about a specific player dropping. Should they give Rodgers a copy of their draft board? Should he be in the room incase someone drops? From the point where Love fell enough to where they started to work out a trade to move up to get him to the point where he was drafted was likely so short and filled with activity that there would be no time to contact Rodgers.
  15. I'm guessing this is a normal thing the NFL does, but if feels weird to me to do something like that this early. Though I'm guessing GMs like it to give them some idea what next year's budget will look like.
  16. Julio Jones wants out. Falcons asking price is a first. 3 yrs left on his contract, not sure what type of cap hit his new team would take on for this year, but can we do it? Should we do it? If it's me I'm going for it assuming his cap number can be fit in. At least it should end the Rodgers drama.
  17. 25 according to this link https://www.statmuse.com/nba/ask/which-team-has-the-most-threes-in-a-playoff-game Long ways to go at 15. I think we'll probably ease up and finish with 18-20. Well they did cool down, but now there's 4 or 5 players on the floor who will probably only look to jack 3s, so might get interesting with 4 minutes left.
  18. What is the nba playoff record for 3s in a game? I have to imagine it, as we'll as the 29 record we set in the regular season, is in danger tonight.
  19. Saw an article that says Rodgers has been golfing with Elway and that could be considered tampering.
  20. Reading the blurb under his picture, it sounds like he started to put things together in his last start, so probably will no hit us today.
  21. I was just upset when he got the rebound and they didn't foul him right away, towards the end of regulation, he didn't seem to be trying to get the ball into someone else's hands.
  22. Doesn't look like the traded for players had enough time to make it. We're we able to call up anyone else or are we 2 men down?
  23. I wonder if there was some sort of gentleman's agreement when Seattle traded him back us that when our guys were back we had to deal him again so they could claim them again. The whole is just so weird otherwise.
  24. Put me in the camp of wanting to save hader(or williams) for extra innings. I would personally trust Rasmussen more in the the 9th, though he does have the stuff that would also play well in extras, he just hasn't harnessed it well enough yet. Ironically, if it weren't for the runner on second rule, he would be playing it exactly how he should be and going against the traditional save your closer for the save on the road mentality.
