You must also hate when a pitcher throws a cheap breaking ball. Pitchers should just win the matchup by throwing it past the hitter as hard as he can.

Pretty ridiculous to clear the benches and then say no offense was taken. SOMEBODY, at least, was offended enough to start jawing after the game which resulted in the benches clearing. Plus it was a combined no hitter with them on the third pitcher.

I only tuned in for the last couple minutes and was mostly redering to vanvleets 3 point shooting. He was 14/17 in the last 3 games against us, now 4/12 against golden st.

I have no dog in this fight but you could just have said this is my opinion from looking at him and when they "challenge" you, a response could be, "I disagree with you, but I respect your opinion". But that's just me I guess. -
Raptors tried to do what we did, maybe defense with almost no time between shotclock and game clock down 2. Didnt work for them either. Also vanvleet is a pumpkin again. Predictably.

How about their entire series gets rained out and then has to be made up as 3 straight double headers towards the end of the year.

Before today, over the past 2 weeks, he was 2 for his last 18(.111) and 7 for his last 32(.219). Small sample sure, but that's what streaks are, clumps of small samples. -

Woody can start Thursday on normal rest and Davies on normal rest on Friday, so its Wednesday and Saturday up in the air. I believe gio is eligible to come off for Saturday's start if hes ready by then.

The conversation about moving arcia up in the order needs to start, and so I will start it. Over his last 28 days, he is hitting .321/.409/.519. The issue as I see it, is that he has earned a spot higher up on the order, but there's not much room for him to fit in there. Yelich, moose(assuming he doesn't end up on the IL), and Grandal are pretty much locked into the 2, 4, and 5 spots respectively and huira is thriving in the 6 spot. The 3 hole doesn't really fit him and frankly when braun is hot he belongs there. Braun is ice cold right now and I would be interested in dropping cain to the 3 hole with arcia leading off, but I just don't see braun being dropped in the order. The 7 spot would be ok, but I don't see it as much of a change to be worth risking rocking the boat. So that would leave moving him down to the 9 spot with the pitcher 8. I think this would be the move the has the best chance of actually happening that would be the greatest benefit. Try to get some more runners on base for yelich. Ultimately I expect nothing to happen, but it would be nice to benefit more from what I think is arcia finding it. -

I see Davies is hitting puberty finally. He's trying to grow a beard(or at least some mutton chops), but its not going well.
