  1. I can see it And I can feel it coming in the air tonight, oh Lord Well, I've been waiting for this moment for all my life, oh Lord
  2. Here is Cargo's interview with MLB network http://wapc.mlb.com/play/?content_id=28740571&topic_id=7417714
  3. I don't know about him being MVP but Milwaukee is starring at a definite mid-season gold glove winner. GoGo might be our first gold glover in 31 years. (And that catch tonight to rob Votto in the top of the 9th was spectacular)
  4. MLBTR says: Scouts from the Tigers, Cardinals, and Orioles were on hand for the Brewers-Mets game today, tweets MLB.com's Adam McCalvy
  5. @AdamMcCalvy: #Mets C John Buck booed lustily by the Miller Park faithful for interfering with the Sausage Race. Randall Simon in blue and orange. I didn't see it - what happened?
  6. @AdamMcCalvy: Ryan Braun is hitting oppo homers in BP. If he gets through this today, could be back in #Brewers lineup in the next couple of days. Please DFA Yuni
  7. Thanks brewcrew ... 3.5 mid season WAR will help a trade
  8. No kidding. Spin in- turn 2 and the inning is over. The guy on 3rd is meaningless
  9. I am just on my phone but what was Beltrans in season WAR when he was traded?
  10. Interested in seeing Wheeler. He was offered up for Beltran. The Mets picked up a lot of Beltrans salary but got a top prospect. One could hope the Brewers could make some similar trades.

  12. Way to go Weeks. Forgot there was only 1 out, gets doubled off and Brewers don't get a run (Ramirez was on 3rd)
  13. If the game cast was showing 94/95 - the ballpark wasn't.
  14. Brewcrew - I don't disagree (at all) - I was just curious to how other teams make their lineup. Our biggest problem is Yuni. After that, once Braun is back - our offense will be better
  15. I agree ... I will give a slight pass today with him being tossed in with no notice (a rain delay insert isn't ideal) ... His next outing will be good to watch. Lets hope he can turn it up
  16. I wasn't checking every pitch but I didn't see it go above 92. And a 92 MPH fastball can be fine but not with location issues
  17. It's not about a half season of stats for me. It's about Thornburg not having good enough stuff & command to be an effective MLB SP. He's too prone to leaving average fastballs over the heart of the plate, & doesn't have great breaking stuff.. He gets hit hard in pretty much every start he makes, obviously some more than others. I guess you could say he suffers from the same weakness Manny Parra did -- hittable-fastball-itis. Out of the bullpen, all of a sudden Tyler has that much more velocity on his fastball & can throw his breaking pitches that much more sharply. I think he can make a good impact as a RP. As a SP, I think his upside is roughly a poor man's Dave Bush. After sitting row 5 today and watching him work. I am on board with this .. He has definite control issues, gets hit hard and his 92 mph fastball isn't located well
  18. I don't know what is worse, the fact the RRR keeps trotting him out there or Melvin doesn't outright release him
