While Monday was a joke, RR is totally at fault for this start.No, it's Yo's fault for the 4-0 start. RR didn't give up 4-5 hard hit fly-balls. He should be getting the ball on the ground or striking guys out. While Gomez would have caught Jay's ball, that doesn't excuse Yo for pitching terribly the rest of the way and walking batters. That is a good point... But as a manager you need to think about D, especially going against their ace.

lol ... I was just thinking the same thing. I just don't get RR sometimes. Here's to hoping Kotsay goes 4-4 with 2 doubles, 3 RBI's and 4 runs scored!

Just get the series back to Milwaukee should be the motto. We have the best home record in baseball. (If we take more than 1 game, obviously - great) ... but as a fan ... I won't get gready and say we must win 2 ... Just give me 1. Give me one and lets go back home and handle our business. Sure down 3 - 2 isn't ideal but if you told me in April we would need to beat the Cardinals in 2 straight games to go to the World Series and both games were in Milwaukee - I would be like. Ok. Let's do this. Is it ideal. No. But it is why you get homefield! Get the series back to Milwaukee. Everyone now. Lets get the series back to Milwaukee.

Wolf, Marcum and Greinke all seem to be slumping at the same time. Here are some pretty numbers: 1. Marcum a. Has thrown 5 games this year with a 0 run outing (Last one was September 4th). b. Has pitched poorly in his last 5 of 6 games. 3 straight). 2. Wolf a. Has thrown 5 games with a 0 run outing (Last one was August 15). b. Has pitched poorly in his last 3 games. 3. Both Marcum and Wolf usually never went more than 2 bad outings back to back as they would then string together a bunch of good ones. 4. Greinke a. Was lights out in the 2nd half (had 2 games of 16 where he gave up more than 3 runs) b. His ERA dropped from 5.66 on July 3rd to 3.83 on his last outing of the year. c. Greinke threw 2 games this year (both in the 2nd half) with zero runs given up. (Last one was July 27) 5. Yo: a. Was straight filthy this year outside of April. b. Yo also threw 5 games this year with zero runs given up. (Last one was August 30.) So in short someone on this team is due to throw a gem of a game. (or atleast I am hoping.) I think they have shown all year, as a whole, they are pretty slump proof. It seemed to me 1 or 2 of them would have a bad start or two and then string a bunch of good ones in a row. Here’s to hoping Yo kicks off a run of quality outings starting tomorrow and maybe a few where they throw zero's! Go Brewers!

Just don't sit down ... not today. Not with a chance to go get a penant. I want Miller Park to be the 10th man today. I want Miller Park to be like squad six, just repeated in every section. I want it loud. I don't want you to sit. I want everyone to lose their voice. I know I am going to try my best. Homefield advantage is only an advantage if the fans want it to be. I believe in Prince, the Hart, Brauny, the small t-plush, Yo's curve ball, high fiber, good scotch, that the novels of Tony LaRussa are self-indulgent, overrated crap. I believe Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone. I believe there ought to be a constitutional amendment outlawing Astroturf and the designated hitter. I believe in the sweet spot, long distance home-runs, opening your presents Christmas morning rather than Christmas Eve and I believe in long, slow, deep October celebrations that last through November. didn't even sell out today's game ... just ridiculous. Come on Brewers, snap out of it. Lets put up some runs in bunches like we know how too. simply ridiculous they couldn't sell out a playoff game.
