Rickie Weeks in a huge spot. Lets go Rick
-
Peralta rebounded nicely. Exactly why you don't pull out the pitchforks too early. Kid has good stuff he just needs to find his way at the big league level.
-
Only reason I can think of for getting him is if they were looking to trade aram. With hart coming back and Morris mashing they don't need a 1b... The move didn't make much sense to me
-
Pulled with thumb soreness I guess.
-
No word yet. Hopefully he didn't jack up his thumb worse. If that is the case I am going to be even more pissed at RRR for running him out there day after day with a bad digit.
-
Time for Lohse to step up and have a good outing.
-
The A's second baseman stole my 7th grade science teachers glasses.
-
Seems like it because they are. Always a crooked number on the scoreboard in the first couple innings for the bad guys lately.
-
I would say yes to firing Kranitz. All he has done is be the leader of the worst starting staff in baseball this year and the worst bullpen last year.
-
I know it plays to the matchup to start Scooter against Griffin, but I find it funny that RRR decides to bench Weeks after his best game of the year with the bat after refusing to sit him all year. Looking forward to watching this one.

Fire sale on the way?

Whatever they trade needs to bring in pitching. I have no interest in adding under performing young bats already in the majors or more minors bats. This team needs pitching period. -
Scooter Gennett gets called up to MLB

Of Scooters 60 hits this year only 11 were XBH. Nothing to get excited about here. -
Wow Fiers! Nice outing
-
Lol, it is almost comical at this point.
-
With the pitching matchup you want too.... Just bad....
-
You just posted exactly what I was thinking... Only thing you forgot was when did Sophia get those bags under her eyes? Don't remember her having those last year.
-
All twins RBI with 2 outs..... Opposite of the anti-clutch Brewers hitters.
-
Am I wrong to think RRR should have walked out and yanked Gonzalez after that error. Completely paying no attention. That is inexcusable.
-
When Wily has good command of that sinker he is tough. Just wish he could be more consistent. If his command improves he could be nasty. Not sure that will happen under Kranitz.
-
Maldonado has been putrid at the plate this year.
-
Man, Segura is smooth out at SS.
-
Remember that stretch last year when Fiers couldn't be touched.....
-
Kranitz has to go. Everyone says it isn't the pitching coaches fault, the pitchers just need to make their pitches. While true the pitching coach is there to teach them how to pitch and develop the player whether it is mechanics, pitch selection, thought process or any other number of factors. Bottom line is this entire staff has regressed under his tutelage. We are now seeing how horrible the management really is now that they do not have a hand me a playoff spot team like they did in 2011.
-
You need to look at more than BA. He is still batting well over .300 in high leverage situations. Not really a guy behind him in the order I would rather see in that spot.
-
Singled to death again. Why am I surprised?
