  1. If we face Kershaw and Peralta pitches for us then we will sweep that series. Same if we don't face Kershaw.
  2. The Brewers are the best team in baseball and will get even better when they call up Jeffress. No team worries me. I'll have whatever you're drinking, please. Drinking some knowledge and reality, right now. Your welcome to have either one.
  3. Gennett should be playing every day and he will get his full shot to be able to do it. Gennett needs consistent playing time against both and he will be fine.
  4. The Brewers are the best team in baseball and will get even better when they call up Jeffress. No team worries me. This division in my eyes is already the Brewers. I hope the Reds keep the cards from the playoffs. I'd rather play the Reds, but neither can beat the Brewers in a best of 5 or 7.
  5. we know he isn't at the game as he has a career record of 400-2 when he goes No but seriously I've only seen a few loses when I go to a game at Miller Park and I've been to over 40-50 of them. I also drive 15 hours round trip from Columbus, OH to see them play. I've also seen 2 playoff games and saw Braun hit a HR in the playoff game. Btw.. they better win if I travel that distance to see a series.
  6. PrinceFielderx1, is that you? Thankfully not!!!! Yeah, I'm not that drunk. However, when I say a team will come back there are many reasons for it, and it happens.
  7. My apologies, I misinterpreted your post. It happens. no worries.
  8. You were and you are. Please stop. Anyone but the Cubs could still win this division. A 4.5 game lead is nothing. 7 game leads have been blown with less than 3 weeks left. If you were to tell me today that we do not go on to win the division but do end up winning a wild card, I would be satisfied. I thought this was a team that could win 70 games or upper 80's coming into the season. More players have exceeded expectations than not. And this isn't a shot, but PrinceFielderx1 is an optimist, convinced we could get Stanton AND the "unproven," Fernandez(yes, Jose) for Ryan Braun. I am a optimist usually. But not to the point that when it's pouring outside I believe that I can walk to my care and have the drops miss me. But....I'll say this. While I might raise an eyebrow at some of these posts, there better than the, "when will the wheels come off," type of fans. I try to be as opposite of those fans as I can be.
  9. They talked about it on mlb network. They didn't say they were the best team, however, which is false.
  10. It'd be premature to do so if we have a 5.5 game lead on Sept 1st. Do you not remember some of the big leads we built over the Cubs in the past? Yes I do. I've looked deeper into this than that, actually.
  11. lets not forget that they play 7 against Milwaukee in September They will likely be over 10+ games back of the Brewers by that time.
  12. brwrsfan, Teams win games and become contenders with "pitching." Plain and simple. The Cards just lost 2 very good "starting" pitchers. They won't be a contender unless they can replace that production that they now lack. With the amount of time both of those pitchers will miss I'm very comfortable saying it's over for them. They just ate into their pitching depth way sooner than they wanted to.
  13. And even if the Brewers end up winning the division, you still aren't correct. DUCY? The race would be over in this scenario, actually. Brewers division champs! The way things are looking the Cards will miss the playoffs this year.
  14. and you guys said I was premature to call the NL Central race over a month ago..... Funny. Dead simmons I consider you good luck. Stick around.
  15. They are meaningless. Just like the top 100 prospect analysts sheets. Heck even the top 50.
  16. Yes, that was the funniest thing I've seen this season for sure.
  17. 4+ ? so it could be anywhere between 4 and 104? Way to go out on a limb man... I was somewhere in between. That's a safe prediction that could or could not happen, but with a high probability it would. .
  18. The Brewers look like they could win more than the 96 wins I predicted.
  19. MLB network needs to pick up tomorrows game now. Guaranteed action.
  20. Thanks. -1 to my memory. Do we have a HOF section? This should be in it.
