I find the attitude around here disturbing (If fan message boards can actually be disturbing...which they can't). Our bullpen is more rested than the Cubs, so for every inning it goes on it should only benefit us for tomorrow--and we aren't playing the Cards after this series. I want a win and a sweep.

He was every bit as good last year as 2017 (against righties), but he sure has been miserable this year.

Fixed. One can hack at everything, but they have to at least foul off the ugly pitches they swing at (or hit them out of the park like Vlad Sr.)

Agree... Davies was dealing and there were no splits advantages to making a change and Davies was only at 85 pitches. I thought he'd finish out the inning.

Davies got away with a meatball to Baez there. GIDP are en vogue today.

Well that makes up for the 1st inning out where the ball arrived at the same time as Heyward. Ball beat Bote by 2 steps and he slid around a slow moving Grandal.
