  1. Seems like we’re at the point in the draft where we no longer have any idea who the guys are
  2. No idea who Woodward is, but makes sense as an underslot guy given that Bitonti likely isn’t gonna come cheap.
  3. Eric Bitonti- SS/3B We’re really loading up on potential 3Bs this year! It’s as if the FO is making up for all the years they’ve neglected the corner IF position.
  4. A somewhat undersized pitcher with a wicked curveball. Sounds like a certain former Brewers pitcher!
  5. I thought that was the case for 2021 as well, but when I looked back on it I realized that we did take some swings, but just couldn’t sign many of the late round picks.
  6. I feel like every year we say, “Maybe these Day 1 guys will sign under slot so we can swing for a home run on Day 2” but it turns out to not be the case. I have a hunch that Knoth will be more costly than most people think.
  7. Boeve seems to fit the incredibly average/milquetoast player we pick high every year for some reason
  8. Knoth seems like a front office favorite with that 3100 rpm curve. Our front office LOVES high spin rates
  9. Huh, at first glance I’m pleasantly surprised! I’ve gotten so used to seeing us take contact-first up the middle guys so it’s nice to see us take much-needed 3B slugger.
  10. We threw away draft picks and prospects for bad MLB relievers too. Seems like there’s a pattern here now 🙃
  11. I’m not even gonna guess who we’re taking. Anytime I get my hopes up they pick someone hardly anyone seems to think about 😆
  12. Sure Ethan Small turned out fine so far, but I think I'd prefer guys who can regularly throw harder than 90 mph. 90-91 mph might've been at least average in the early 2000s, but I reckon it's a different ballgame nowadays.
  13. Reese Olson seems like a steep price to pay for Norris…
  14. OOF that stings. I was hoping they’d keep one of Brinson and Harrison. Oh well, at least Yelich is more of a sure thing and will be controlled for the next 5 years. I’m not too bummed out about Yamamoto and Diaz, but Brinson AND Harrison stings. Granted, neither are guarantees to reach where Yelich is right now, but still hurts to see some talent leave.
