  1. I hate it how when we are trailing our bats look extra hopeless
  2. man I was really hoping the 1 hitter against Tim Hudson was rock bottom but we are obviously capable of sinking lower
  3. Career high is 9 strike outs for Beachy...for now
  4. Good point, but I think the answer to your question is people were reacting like this every time he pitched with a + 7 ERA for 6 consecutive starts (or they were just busy complaining about Braden Looper, Dave Bush, etc.)
  5. you're right, Kotsay and Almonte are better options in CF, give me a break, Atlanta has 3 guys hitting .236 or under right now and they aren't half the defender Gomez is You're right Gomez is great and there isn't a guy named Nyjer Morgan on the bench. Nice Atlanta has... argument. You must be refering to Dan Uggla (All Star), Freddie Freeman (Top 10 propspect in baseball), and Alex Gonzalez right? I forgot those 3 play horrible defense in CF...oh wait none of them play in the outfield. Coooome On Man. I am right because Nyjer Morgan hasn't been on the bench for weeks! What better option is there in CF right now!?!
  6. What you don't expect us to tie it and lose in the 10th? I totally do.
  7. strike outs have been down and BABIP is low right now at .275. Results haven't been there but he's better than his .233 avg right now. I wouldn't bat him 2nd but he's doing far from 'nothing' You didn't keep a straight face while typing that did you? .277 OBP and a .587 OPS is about as close to nothing as you can get and still be in the starting lineup let alone the 2 hole. you're right, Kotsay and Almonte are better options in CF, give me a break, Atlanta has 3 guys hitting .236 or under right now and they aren't half the defender Gomez is

  9. Uneven outing by Yo but progress nonetheless 55 pitches thru 4, although I would pull him in the 6th or 7th regardless of pitch count to preserve the positive outing for confidence
  10. getting a little impatient on the offense, 1 run in over 21 innings now At least Braun is manufacturing a little bit here
  11. Haudricourt The talk of the Brewers' clubhouse this morning is Zack Greinke, who just buzzed off all his hair. The transformation is quite stunning. I definitely look forward to seeing this
  12. Incredible, right now when the Brewers are playing, it feels better than 50/50 that Braun is going to hit a home run that day
  13. Yes, there is logic in this, but every day Green is in the bullpen instead of Kintzler it's risking giving away a win
  14. I'm hoping that at least Sean Green does enough to get him off the roster... the little victories
  15. This game is on pace for almost 4 hours... does LeCure work really slow? Not watching on TV.
  16. haha apparently Craig Counsell and his 40 year old 2nd baseman quality arm was too sharp for him to track
  17. I'm feeling good about our chances to take the series with this win by Estrada. Gallardo vs. LeCure favors us pretty heavily and hopefully Gallardo can put together his first good game since the CGSO 4 starts ago.
  18. Yuni, Kotsay, Gomez have done a nice job turning around the black hole bottom of our lineup
  19. Ryan Braun since signing the extension: 9/20, 4 HRs, 9 RBIs, 6 Rs, 2 steals in 4 and a half games
  20. If somebody has to get beamed in the face, at least it is the guy who doesn't deserve the roster spot in the first place
  21. I wish they would play the crap out of Boggs right now. I want him to earn his way on or off the roster after Hart gets activated. Also the sooner Kotsay settles into his long term role of pinch hitting and getting only sporadic at bats, the better, so he can make whatever mental adjustments he needs to for that role. Do we keep an extra outfielder besides the starters + Nyjer Morgan and Kotsay? I don't know if they view Kotsay as the 5th outfielder or an infielder/pinch hitter who is playing out of position right now.
  22. Well if he stands right on first it opens up a huge hole in the infield and if he stands in fielding position he can't hold the runner on so he stands some where in between
  23. Kintzler has way more upside and has performed better than Sean Green. They will both be off the MLB roster soon enough with Parra and Saito coming back but I'd rather have Kintzler for 1-2 weeks than Green.
  24. If they want to wait a day or so to see if McGehee needs to go on the DL, then they can activate Hart and put McGehee on the DL instead of being forced to option Almonte in the process who would probably get the majority of the starts at 3B.
