    He is not going to be a savior but he is a better hitting option at this point then both Izturis and Maysonet. He was batting .269 so far this year. Granted I do expect him to regress back to career norms but that should still be better than either of those options. What i wish the Brewers would do now is send Izturis down or DFA him and bring up Bianchi but this certainly is better than the alternative to me.

    This is probably the exact same lineup that I would have thrown out there today so I can't complain too much about how it performs. Would love a sweep but the alphabet pitcher for the cubs has been pitching pretty lights out lately

    Looks like he could be a good buy low candidate right now, Would take Narvesons spot in the rotation the rest of the year and would help relieve the loss of Marcum & Greinke.

    They easily win the pitching matchup tonight but looking at the lineups I think we win every spot except the #8 spot. Love that Green is getting another start, Wouldn't mind Maysonet getting a start soon.

    I have no real issue with this lineup. I do agree that I probably would have let Braun get the day off today and go with Aoki there, mainly cause I think these are the type of guys Aoki can excel against with his contact approach. I also would have Ishikawa in there for Weeks. Maybe a lineup of Morgan, Aoki, Hart, Ramirez, Lucroy, Green, Ishikawa, Maysonet would be good today. But all in all no real issue

    Yea i would agree with that. If we fall off i have no issue with trading off pieces but I wouldn't quite yet.

    Frankly though this is an all in season, we are most likely losing greinke and marcum and krod and maybe wolf after the year. we werent going to win the next 2 years most likely anyways so why not go for it this season with someone you know will produce

    Honestly I don't have any major issues with the way Melvin and Co. went after it this winter. Imagine our lineup right now if our plan had been to play Green and Gamel at 3rd. We would be in serious danger. I believe we can atleast still compete

    Im ok with Izturis for the time being. His defense should be steady and he has no bat but we got by with Yuni last year.
