  1. Even Lauer’s nonchalant strut off the mound looks ace-like now. ?
  2. Rowdy is swinging a hot bat right now, goodness.
  3. Luis Urias’ spots in the batting order since returning on Tuesday… 9th 7th 1st 6th
  4. While MLB.com still doesn’t have a starter listed for the Braves, but we have this information via beat reporter David O’Brien… Translation: Bullpen game this evening for the Braves. Jesse Chavez hasn’t started a game this season. In his previous 8 appearances so far his max number of pitches has been 36 and his max innings pitched is 2.2 IP. Chavez pitched for the Braves last season, but actually started with the Cubs this year. As a member of the Cubs he pitched against the Brewers last month on April 10th Below is Chavez’s line from that earlier appearance against the Crew. Yelich had the RBI double and Tellez had the 2-run home run in what ended up being a 5-4 Brewers victory. 5. Following up on something I mentioned earlier, the font used for the Brew Crew script appears to be UT Nickel with the B slightly closer to the more recently created Millie font, Both are indeed fonts inspired by the Milwaukee Tool logo.
  6. Imagine being one of the two teams the Reds have actually beaten this year, the Braves (x2) and Cardinals.
  7. Meant to share this earlier, but the 2022 MLB average OPS is almost below the Yuni B mark...
  8. Mantle Adames and Marris Tellez locked into quite the home run chase.
  9. Below are the previously released City Connect uniforms for those who are unfamiliar...
  10. Those two (White Sox and Astros) are easily the best City Connect uniforms, in my opinion.
  11. I've seen the Brewers hit less home runs during batting practice.
  12. The only thing saving Greene from having a worse day is the home plate ump.
  13. Imagine how fun this summer would be if Yelich is even in the same stratosphere as his MVP-self.
  14. Am I accidently watching a replay of last night's game?
  15. The Reds would lose to the Washington Generals right now. UPDATE: Now 9-for-13
  16. As noted in the UniWatch article, the MKE logo has 414 incorporated into it. The Brew Crew font seems familiar to some sort of retro font, but I can’t put my finger on it. The “e” and “w” specifically are similar those used in the cursive Milwaukee Tool logo.
  17. It appears the logo(s) for the Brewers City Connect uniforms might’ve been leaked. UniWatch has the story included in this article: Possible Brewers City Connect Leak It originated from this Tweet:
  18. For Adrian Houser there was no better transaction this past offseason than when Jesse Winker got shipped out west to the Mariners. Winker was 9-for-21 with 5 home runs off of Houser. The question remains, did the Reds simply replace Houser’s kryptonite with an equally fearsome batter? Colin Moran is currently 8-for-12 with 2 home runs against Houser. We’ll see how that matchup further evolves this summer. Reds starter Hunter Greene is getting his first extended run as a starter at the MLB level. So far he’s racked up some strikeouts with an arsenal that includes a 100+ mph fastball, but he’s also struggled with the long ball (5 home runs given up in 18.0 innings). Here is Greene’s 2022 game log (listed starting with his most recent appearance):
