Not that it ended up mattering, but Rowdy almost made a huge mistake. He headed off towards the dugout for the pinch runner before touching first base. Someone caught it and made him go back and step on first. -
Yeah, sorry I wasn’t at a computer this afternoon and got home after game time. I don’t think I’ve missed posting lineups many other days this season though. Any board member should feel free to post lineups anytime they notice it hasn’t been done yet.

Braves are down a left handed reliever in Matzek…
-
Braves broadcast seemed more in shock about the incorrectly called double play than even the Brewers broadcast…
-
Ashby looked fantastic today. Very encouraging day for him. Nice win for the Crew.
-
Regardless, great outing from Ashby so far today.
-
What a bizarre call, wouldn’t the ball have to be stuck under the padding to be “lodged”?
-
He came into the day with a .847 OPS in his limited plate appearances (37 PA).

I mean in the grand scheme of things it really wasn’t that big of a hit, former team or not. At least not to warrant full blown fist pumps down the line and screaming/hip thrusting after rounding first base.
-
I don’t think I’ve ever seen a player celebrate a 2nd inning bloop single in May more than Payton Henry just did.
-
Houser hasn't been good, but the seven run deficit has definitely been a team effort today despite what ERA might say.
-
That's typically not the case for me. I even liked Joe Block just fine when everyone was calling him boring. I've listened to the radio broadcast the past two games and for me Maurer just isn't a polished baseball radio voice to the caliber of what I'd expect for an MLB level broadcast. He seems to butcher a lot of common phrases/expressions, and his explanations of things that are unfolding is grating to my ears.
-
What a disastrous defensive inning for the Brewers.
-
With Josh Maurer on the radio call you might be better off with the random YouTube broadcast crew.
-
Reminder today’s Brewers-Reds game broadcast is available only on YouTube:
-
Nice to see them pull it out, quick turnaround tomorrow going for the series win… time to start a nice little winning streak.
-
Let’s go Hader, if you can get this batter the game will finish just shy of four full hours.
-
I think one of the road blocks is simply that they haven’t added him to the 40-man roster and may not be eager to do so just yet.
-
Well this would certainly be a good time to add an insurance run or two.
