  1. My [sarcasm]sophisticated[/sarcasm] NL MVP tracker says... 1) Yelich ⬆️ 2) Báez ⬇️
  2. Yes, I meant Monday, October 1st. One thing that didn’t look possible a couple of weeks ago was the Brewers overtaking the Cardinals in run differential, but that has now happened as well as the Brewers move to +79 on the season.

  4. I think the Brewers are going to go 3-1 over the next four while the Cubs go 3-2 in their last five. Both teams will have identical 94-68 records, and have a Game 163 at Wrigley for the division championship on Monday, October 1st.
  5. Life is Good...
  6. Diamondbacks beat the Dodgers on a 9th inning walk-off home run. The race in the West is heating up.
  7. This NL Central Playoff Odds line-graph spanning the season is a thing of beauty...
  8. Pirates win. They have outscored the Cubs 11-1 in the first two games of the 4-game series.
  9. Right now is the exact opposite of what things felt like at the end of the 5-game series sweep in Pittsburgh. This is so much fun.
  10. Now at 91 wins, tied for the most in the National League!
  11. Really? The Cardinals still have 22% of their outs remaining. 5 runs is definitely doable. Now just 15% of their outs remaining. Edit: And now make that 11%!
  12. No and I missed Brauns dinger last night too because of it! Right before Braun hit this last dinger, I said to my wife as the feed cut out, "you know, when this happened last night, Braun hit one out--I'd take that," and so it was. Haha, as mentioned last night maybe this series really is just baseball’s version of the Truman Show!
  13. It’s doing it for me too. I missed the Braun homer because of it. I have DirecTV. I have DirecTV as well, and also missed the home run. Dammit.
  14. Braun has awoken this series. Wasn’t there a quote from him about having a good feeling about this series?
  15. Yeah, tonight’s in-game decisions have been about as frustrating as I can remember recently.
  16. I don’t think walking Garcia ahead of Carpenter would be a good idea. Come on Corey.
  17. I think I have been among the highest on Woodruff since his minor league days, but I can envision a scenario where he becomes a mid-rotation staple in future seasons. Looks confident tonight.
