I don’t think I want the Brewers to take McClanahan, but it is tempting if you think he could possibly be in a major league bullpen by the end of the year.
Are they? Seems like they are/were extremely good at manipulating the prospect consensus into ranking their prospects very highly, few of whom ever panned out. Corey Knebel turned out to be a good one!
Such is the price we pay for being better than them. Well yes, but the Twins made the playoffs last year and we have to draft behind them... which actually infuriates me about the MLB draft selection ordering.
At least one of these players is going to be available when the Brewers to pick... Matt Liberatore Brady Singer Nolan Gorman Cole Winn Brice Turang Ethan Hankins Shane McClanahan That would have seemed unlikely at one point this Spring.
Good call, lets keep this thread clear of spoilers in the main messages. Also, there is a spoiler button for those that want to share information that hasn’t been announced on the broadcast.
The Brewers are going to have a tough selection, there are going to be some really solid players available at #21. Concern will be what the financial number is for a lot of those guys that are falling.
Do you have intel? The picks are usually on Twitter and various chats before TV. I think last year we said we didn’t want that posted in this thread, but I don’t care either way.
Orioles take Grayson Rodriguez, all of these pitchers are still available with 9 picks until Brewers selection... Liberatore Singer Winn Gilbert McClanahan Hankins Wonder if 1-2 of those guys will make it through to the Brewers pick.
I guess Oklahoma is looking for a new starting QB. Edit: Or not, apparently. Not sure I would want my $4 million dollar guy running around on a football field for the next six months.
Kind of like a band-aid, it was probably better to just rip it off quickly. Those guys falling into the mid-teens would have just gotten my hopes up irrationally high.
Will be interesting to see if Singer falls to the A’s at #9. It would be the second time in three years they sat back and had a highly touted Florida pitcher fall to them.
