  1. There were two decent lefties off the bench in Kottaras and Ishikawa and Roenicke lets Gonzalez hit, pretty stupid.
  2. Basically our entire offense is in a slump and looks terrible at the plate, with the exception of Gamel, and Kottaras, who doesn't even start.
  3. Up until he put Gomez right back #2 again this year. Boggles the mind. Well to be fair, Gomez has looked good at the plate so far this season. (Granted in a small sample size)
  4. Powell is one of the best in the league. Period. That's like saying, "What's so great about Yovani and Greinke? Halladay >>> both of them." Well I guess we're entitled to our own opinions, maybe I was spoiled 'cuz of Powell, but I didn't like Provus either.
  5. Yeah, I almost kinda feel bad for Sprewell.. lol
  6. What was so special about Provus? I didn't like him either. Powell >>> both of them.
  7. Yeah, I'd like to see more of Aoki as well. I like the idea of him splitting time with Morgan in CF against RHP, and also drawing a start or so per week in RF. That said though, I'm a little surprised he swings and misses/Ks as much as he does for a guy with his skillset.
  8. Our infield defense isn't bad at all.. we're strong up the middle with Weeks and Gonzalez, and Gamel will probably be about average. Only one weak link, and that would be Ramirez.
  9. Idk, but I agree about Kottaras being underrated. Ever since he's been a Brewer, I've been impressed with his at-bats. Really good batting eye, solid power. I can't imagine there's a better offensive backup catcher in baseball.
  10. That's actually a good idea, I wonder if they'd be interested in him.
  11. Idk, I don't like the guy at all. And why was Loe pitching in the 7th, when 3/4 batters he faced were lefties? I guess there's only so many options since we don't have a lefty specialist in the pen, and I know they didn't score that inning so it didn't matter, but still. I just can't stand Roenicke one bit.
  12. Not walking Uggla was pretty dumb. You could make a case for pitching to him, but me personally, i'd put him on and make Diaz beat me, and hope for a double play.
  13. Are Gallardo, Marcum, and Greinke in their mid-30s? And typically have a better ERA than peripheral stats indicating a little bit of luck?
  14. What a brilliant start tonight by the guy who most people on here think should be brought back for big bucks next season (When he'll be another year older at that)
  15. Why does everyone want to pick up Wolf's option next year? I get that he's been good for us the last couple years, but he's getting pretty old, and his peripheral stats don't exactly match up with his ERA. I could see if it was a reasonable option, but 10 mil? Forget that..
  16. I didn't realize he was as fleet of foot as he is. But yeah overall he's looked solid so far.
  17. Roenicke was a complete idiot last season, if he's half as dumb as he was last season, there's no way we make the playoffs.
  18. Oh god, I hope Roenicke doesn't get extended, dude is a complete moron.
  19. Idk if all of his interviews are like this, but I remember 2-3 years ago he was interviewed after a game on AM 1250, and all of his answers were like 1-2 word answers, idk if it was a maturity thing or what but it was pretty awkward.
  20. Patterson ain't THAT bad, he doesn't get on base, but he plays a respectable CF and has decent pop.
  21. Well when you put it like that, yeah I guess.
  22. I don't see why, $6 million isn't an outrageous amount for one of the better SSs in the game.
  23. Boston basically just gave him away, it's a shame, I would've loved to have had Scutaro in Milwaukee, he's better than Gonzalez and only what, like $1.5 mil more expensive
  24. I hope he's better than Provus, I know i'm in the minority, but I never warmed up to Provus, something about him just annoyed me.
