    Well, I like the concept that Eveland brought to the table... throw strikes. But I think the batters may beat up the pitchers in the locker room after the game.

    I think we are 3 bullpen pitchers away from being a good team. We really do seem to have three AAAA guys in there that are no part of our future.

    if maddux told ned to leave doug in, the maddux did a terrible thing... something was/is wrong with doug; it was brutal to leave the poor guy in BRUTAL Cmon Crew, you proved yesterday you can win doing dumb things... c'mon players, now cover up for your managers.... you can do it.

    all we ask is that ned does not leave a guy in that shows obviously that something is terribly wrong there will be a game tomorrow, no one predicts the end of the world but, c'mon, all of ned's relatives that are posting here, open up your eyes... ned embarrassed himself, ned embarrassed doug and ned has moved us further away from .500 than nearer it in the last 30 mins, ned did a terrible job, he is still the best man for the job, I say, but in the last 30 mins he did a much more terrible job than doug... doug did not have control of his arm for whatever reason but ned did not have control of his brain, that is not acceptable

    To make the game quicker, perhap Doug should just ask the umpire to start each odd batter on a 1-0 count and each even batter on a 2-0 count.

    Let me guess now. The same Brewer batters that racked up 7 hits and a handful of walk in 2 2/3 inns, will now go 16 straight outs to the same pitcher. This team is, as I always say, full of talent, but they struggle to apply it. They are a wee scared to be front runners. They expect to lose. C'mon guys... change that mojo. As I type... c'mon guys do it now!

    Oh goodie, I can now post my favourite line... we have outhit the opposition by more than 100% and we are not in front. Just once I want a winning laugher.... not do all we can to play 1 run games.... this is tough on us.
