    to be fair.. I never actually said how many ER's DD would give up. Just said the score would be 8-1. 0 or 1 would have been the only options though. Didn't see the redman bomb coming.

    Madtown I have to agree. I have a feeling this season might turn out worse than the last 2 or 3. This pitching staff is brutal. I can't believe how awful they are playing right now. This is bad news. I just laid down 1800 for a big screen today. I hope I don't have to watch opposing teams run up double digits every time Sheets doesn't pitch. I am growing very concerned about this team.

    carlos lee keeps his back elbow up and gets sweet extension. I enjoy that as a spectator. Is that ok to say?

    I love the Brewers and all but that was a depressing display of baseball. I think that broadcast will likely make fringe fans less likely to ever watch another game.

    did weeks hit a triple? when i was in in arizona he hit a triple and absolutly flew around the bases. It was a sight to behold. I can't think of a guy who looked faster heading into second and rounding it. I am convinced he will hit double digit triples more than once. Blazing, blazing, blazing speed. Plus, he is a big dude. Not a little man at all. He is going to be fun to watch.

    Hold the phone... the article claiming Lee's hand is broke is dated 3/13. He didn't even have his MRI at that point so apparently this is a bogus claim. Lee's hand may not be injured after all......

    ..in case you missed it.... It appears that Lee's hand is broke. scout.com or mlbinsider.com is saying opening day is in doubt due to a broken hand. Not good. I friggen hate jamey wright. This is sickening. Here we go again. Even when he comes back his hand will feel very weak for a long time.

    Agreed. I will personally kiss his bust at Cooperstown. Hell, I will personally kiss his bust. I guess it woudn't be much to kiss now that he has lost 70 pounds or whatever. I guess I missed my chance last year. As far as Bottallico.... lets not forget that he was pretty sweet last year. 69 innings and only 54 hits while fanning 61. He held the league to a .215 AVG. He is fine tuning. He will be in the bully and should be effective. He has a track record and is coming off a more than solid year.

    Fine.. Start a player who has proven to be inferior to someone else on your roster. Use Spring Training HR's off of Jamey Wright and Aaron Taylor as your rationale for doing so. See you in 6th place in September.
