Don't worry, I await you turning on CC as well when he has a couple bad starts in a row. Your All-Star pitcher has ONE WIN since the CC trade. So when CC doesn't win more than one game in what is it 8 starts, call me.
Sheets has count it, ONE WIN since the CC trade. It's been 4 years since 2004. I wouldn't touch the half year wonder with a ten foot pole. Nice bunt tonight....
I agree 100% with you but the problem is that Nix is batting 3rd and the first guy off the bench. If this is the case then they would be better off with Brantley.
Inconsistent strike and ball calls last night late in the game. I am still wondering where Riske's second pitch to Kemp was and what was wrong with it other being knee high and nearly down the center of the plate. Can we just not have an umpire call balls and strikes and use K zone while we are at it with the changes and instant replay?
Anyone trashing the Brewers should look at Sorimano. What a complete tool. The ball hit the bottom of the wall and stood watching it like he hit a tape measure bomb. Lou didn't even bench the turd. This is one of the reasons I can't stand to Cubs and would root for aliens to annihilate them.
The Cardinals should be more worried about what Edmonds did to them yesterday with the watch, the bat flip towards the dugout, and then the stare. I see Edmonds getting some inside heat today. He did the same thing to the Brewers.
I really don't care what people vent in this thread. It does bother me that the stuff you have posted in this thread is eerily similar to things others have posted in other threads as support of their arguments. The vents as arguments are tiresome. Again, show me what Rickie has done to warrant criticism? I am tired of those people saying what a great job Rickie has done but can't show anything besides his mediocre BA and OPS in the last month disregarding his baserunning errors and his errors at crucial moments. Do you ever think if Rickie makes that play against the Cubs the series might have turned out any different?
This is the vent thread. And Rickie ran into two outs in the Houston series. He had a terrible baserunning error against the Cubs and is an undisciplined hitter at the plate. 1-5 is not cutting it batting leadoff.
