  1. Oh Rickie you so fine! Had to do it. It's my first and last time.
  2. Gameday can't handle reversed calls. What happened?
  3. Lilly out, Wuertz in during top of 3rd.
  4. D has let him down big time today. Don't forget about the O.
  5. Heaven forbid a Brewer take a walk every now and again. JDLR is not throwing many strikes (per Gameday), but he has 4k's and 0BB's.
  6. Perfect start. I'll check back to see the carnage in an hour or so.
  7. I hear Mota is still brewing, and has hit category 3 status. Should break landfall soon, and according to my calculations will reach the Miller Park area around Saturday. Just in time for me to be staring it right in the face. I better stock up on beer and vodka.
  8. I still think the Brewers should have spiked his Gatorade with performance enhancers and let him go ape on the mound for a while. Then when he fails the drug test and gets suspended no one would care, because he sucks without the enhancers anyway. Of course we would all need to be in on it for it to work the way I envision it.
  9. This would definitely be an improvement on what he's been saying, or isn't saying, lately.
  10. Hitters:D+ But they hit a ton of HRs. That clearly merits them at least a B http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  11. I have a feeling this thread needs to be kept warm today. JDLR... this could get ugly.
  12. Count me in. Mota has devastated my family once again. I don't think we have the strength to survive another Mota. Thank you Pedro.
  13. I swear it looked like an 8-ball, but I could have mistaken it for Clucky.
  14. None of the flaws on this team are Ned's fault. What?!?! My mom doesn't even support me this well.
  15. He doesn't answer this question because it would tip Doug and Mark off as to how incompetent his is regarding bullpen management. See, Ned has a custom made majik 8-ball in the dugout with all the bullpen pitchers names on the die inside. The name that comes up after 7 shakes is the pitcher he goes with. And he will not shake again until the first of two things occur: 1) the pitcher gives up 4+ runs, 2) the pitcher does not record 3 outs within 20 minutes.
  16. I confess I read through most of this thread. I confess I can't stand crappy people even more now. I confess I thought it was a bad idea at first to make people wait until the AB was over to return to their seats at Coors Field. I confess I used to like the wave until I reached the approximate age of 12. I confess I secretly hope the 10 year old that already has 4 balls from earlier in the game who runs from the 20th row down to the dugout every time he thinks another ball is coming that way accidentally slips and falls and injures himself bad enough so he can't run down the stairs any more. I confess I can't stand that kids parents. I will now recite my 10 "Roll Out the Barrel"s and 15 "Take Me Out to the Ballgame"s.
  17. I think the crew that blew the triple play call today in Boston, and then later reversed it may be a bit worse. At least they got the call right i guess. However, the two pick off plays on Monday were both bad calls. The tag didn't exist on either play. The illusion of the tag fooled the ump into making the wrong call, twice.
  18. I am really glad to see Volquez pitching the next game I go to. Thank God it isn't going to be Harrang. I might have sold my ticket if that stud was pitching against the Crew. Who didn't see the Rusch domination coming tonight? I would steer way clear of that Josh Fogg game as well. That match-up reeks of shutout. And sadly none of this post should be in blue. This home run or bust team is brutal to watch when the result is nothing.
  19. He makes the same silly mistakes that they all do. *3
  20. D+ Just short of passing, and just short of failing. Leaving Mota in to blow the game wide open is inexcusable, and I feel he has very limited capacity to learn from his mistakes. I wish we could trade him to the Braves for a couple of low-A players.
  21. After attending the entire Pirates series, I am now suffering from severe MP withdrawal. Since I am out of town this week, I will not be able to see CC make his Brewer debut (on TV or in person). Enjoy the game everybody and bring home a win for CC!
  22. I am taking the cautiously optimistic approach. Just like the self-help programs, I am taking it one day at a time.
  23. Prince is still 0 for the road. Keep it up big guy, you'll get that HR you're looking for real soon.
  24. Mota kept missing too far down. I am thinking Kendall wanted it in an unhittable spot way up, but Mota kept leaving it too far down. The last pitch was further down than the previous three. My vent is that my Brewer Fever has subsided quite a bit. The last two games have sucked big. The Brewers better put something together against Livan Hernandez, or else.
