  1. I like YTTV so much that I probably just wouldnt watch Bucks or Brewers games on TV anymore. The game watching experience is changing. My sons (the oldest is in High school) and they dont really watch the games, they get pop ups on their phones when something happens, they click on the link, watch the highlight and check score and move on with whatever they are or were doing. I cant really get them to sit through a game, even football. Too much down time in football especially. I hope Sinclair gets burned hard, TBH. I used to think the only reason for a cable subscription was live sports, but now that I have been without it due to COVID and now these RSN disputes. I dont care any more.
  2. A good start! Last year they swept UMD to start season, let’s hope for better results this year!
  3. I don’t see how the Badgers aren’t last in the Big 10. Could be a long short season.
  4. Im still long ATHX. My portfolio is up 186% since March 1. The CEO just did an interview on Fox News today. We will see double digits soon. Bought into ATHX after you initially mentioned it in here a few weeks ago. Couldn’t be happier with the investment so far! Very promising company that could be a real player in the Covid fight. That’s awesome that you got in. Go long. If Multistem works for Stroke or ARDS is could mean life changing money. That might be 5 years away yet, but if it hits $20, it will eventually hit 50, 100 and who knows. I’m still long 18k shares at $1.49 average.

  6. Bizarre day for sure. I was positive 16% today, but that is because for years I have been heavily invested in $ATHX a company that is close to breaking out with their product, one of the indications it treats is ARDS which is essentially one of the complications from COVID-19 that leads to death.
  7. This is devastating news. I want to watch the Bucks and the Brewers. Thats literally all I want to watch. Anyone have any advice?
  8. I went last night. They played one good period of hockey. The rest of the game was about as bad as I can remember. The badgers stink that’s for sure.
  9. Imagine being worried about trading Jordan Yamamoto for Mike Trout.
  10. Thanks for providing those numbers on registrations ZBTMP. Interesting. I wonder how much of that has to do with Wisconsin never having a professional team, as demographically we are so similar to Minnesota and Michigan. Something in Wisconsin has to give in order to give hockey more exposure - the exposure I think it deserves in this state. When it comes to winter sports we are just such a basketball state I think.
  11. Michigan has 7 Division 1 hockey programs in the state Minnesota has 5 Wisconsin has just 1. Any chance any other school in Wisconsin could become a D1 program? Ever? I admittedly do not know the politics, money, or policy behind those decisions, but needless to say places like UMD and Lake Superior State dont strike me as otherwise D1 schools...so....???
  12. Full Disclosure first: Im sour about crypto. I bought 55 litecoins in August with an average about $70. Instability in China tanked it to $45 in a matter of hours and I jumped ship. primarily because I had an unexpected housing expense. So yeah Im sour about it...but honest question time. What happens when bitcoin starts becoming accepted at places like Ebay, Amazon, Wal Mart, etc, and nobody spends it? Because that is what I see happening. I see it being adopted but then nobody spending it. Nobody is buying to spend, they are buying to profit/invest (thats why I bought). But it keeps going up because its the future of currency. But its not, because nobody in their right mind is going to spend it. When ebay starts accepting it and nobody uses it, then what?
  13. The Blackhawks have zero market in Wisconsin or Milwaukee. Any interest you may see is from them winning three cups in the pat 10 years. I watch tons of MN Wild Hockey on FSN. Its too bad about Milwaukee, pretty much everyone here is correct. Wisconsin will never get a team unless someone with a boatload of cash really wants a team in Milwaukee, and that just isnt a reality.
  14. I have really fallen in love with hockey. I wish it were more popular in the US. My kids play, I had never even skated before that, but my now 10 year old really wanted to play a sport the summer he turned 4. I wanted to sign him up for tee ball but it was 5 year old minimum. The local rink started a learn to play hockey class that summer for 4 year olds, we started it ,we both loved it and now we are a hockey family. My 6 year old plays and my 3 year wishes he played. I even took it up and started playing in the old mans league. We live in Oshkosh, a town of more than 60,000 with surrounding areas even more than that. We have something like 8-12 kids playing in the entire city per birth year. It is pathetic. And it has nothing to do with cost. My kids do all sorts of stuff (swim team, piano, theater...) and at the end of the year Hockey is one of the cheaper sports we do.
