Can't wait to see where this March ends up after the month is over. Normal highs appear to be in the low-to-mid 40s for most of us, today we will be lucky to see 20 here in Oshkosh. It really is amazing that we are something like 53 degrees below where we were last year. It looks to me like Winter will hang on well into April for us this year, which just seems odd. Any updates/explanations you can provide, OWBC, are much appreciated. The local guys dont seem to either notice or care.

In theory this is great, but with so many kids playing in alleys or fields in the Domincan Republic, Venezuela, or some other island, it seems like a logistic nightmare.

Weather.com has a video talking about a major storm headed our way that would drop "several inches" on wisconsin. Any word on that?

Yeah lots of snow in the month of Feb. Not huge dumpings, but it seems like it would drop 1-3 inches a couple times a week for the past 4-5 weeks. Im ready for this to start to taper off and for March to bring warmer weather. I dont want it to me 80 degrees on St. Patricks day again, just start heading toward 40 on a regular basis.

Im not saying he is guilty until proven innocent,I am saying I am sick of this. I want to focus on baseball, not see a headline on every sports site I visit that says something to the effect o "More documents link Braun to PEDs" He is my favorite player and I am not saying he should be suspended, that I will boo him or that he is guilty. Just that for TWO off seasons in a row, as a fan, I have to listen to this BS and I am sick of it. It isnt going to stop, so get rid of him, get a handsome return, who knows, it could lead to the BRewers winning something.

Im not, Im just sick of it. I was critical of Sosa,McGwire and Bonds, it would be hypocritical of me to give Braun a pass. I gave him a pass after he won his appeal last year, I believed the story about using Bosch as a consultant, but Im just getting sick of this. He is already going to be 29, they could get a haul for him and we could rebuild pretty spectacularly. Im just tired of it.

Ryan Braun is my favorite player. I am so sick of this for two years in a row I wish they would just trade him and rebuild. Seriously, it is so annoying and embarrassing. Trade him.

Imagine if there hadnt been a leak last winter, Braun won the appeal and we never heard anything....then this, his names appears in the Bosch records for 20-30k. How would our reactions be different, since Braun probably wouldnt use the explanation about consulting about his appeal. Although, he could go with the Cervelli explanation, consult on injury.

So now Bob Costas knows the best way to put on a legal defense?

I reluctantly agree with you Jim. While I believe this story is plausible and probably likely, at this point, the Braun camp needs to come clean 100% on what happened last winter and tie it up with this new allegation so he can finally put this behind him. If people like Lucroy and Aaron Rodgers who have come out and said if we knew the whole story....well, its time to know the whole story.

As a criminal defense attorney, if I had a client with deep pockets who was accused of taking some sort of designer drug found in a test at work with little other evidence to back up his use, the first "expert" I would look to retain to help me further understand and explain the evidence is someone who was tied to the production or distribution of such a drug. I would consult with them and say that my client is accused of taking X, the test shows Y, if he was taking X is the test result consistent with that, is the subsequent test taken that shows nothing consistent with that, etc etc. Attorneys hire and consult with experts everyday, especially defense attorneys. Also, I wish people would stop saying that 20-30k is too much to pay for an expert and that if he paid that much there would be a large paper trial to back this up. Please do not forget that there is a dispute as to the money owed, which means Braun's team is saying that the 20-30k is not owed and the services not provided. That again makes sense. When a shady character like Bosch knows he is dealing with a rich client he is going to jack up any fee he can in hopes to get paid. ESPN and YAHOO are in the business of selling stories, true or not. They are into page views, clicks, twitter trends, advertising dollars, etc etc. Remember, Rick Reilly wants everyone to know he had it first on twitter (not the Braun story, a dif example). If anything people need to exercise a little TFYQA, Think For Yourself, Question Authority. Just because some rich media outlets want this to be a huge story doesnt mean it is, they wouldnt sell anything if they reported that Braun was tied to the clinic but had a very reasonable explanation and until they know more they werent going to report on it.

I like this submission. The only modification I would make is to straighten out ball/glove logo and then make it bigger and "cut out" the state of Wisconsin from a larger logo, so there would be no yellow outside the logo.

Looking at next years ballot, my 2014 ballot would add: Maddux Big Hurt Glavine Mussina Kent as viable candidates, but I would only vote for the top 3, eventually Kent will be in, Mussina might be Jack Morris. 2015 gets a great trio in Randy Johnson, Pedro, Smoltz 2016 gets Griffey and Hoffman.

What happened with Bonds? He had an ops over 1.000 in almost 500 plate appearances in his last season. How did he not get a job the next year?

What was with that snow we had up here in Oshkosh Thursday Night-Sauturday evening? I snowed constantly for about 48 hours straight and the weathermen had more or less no idea when it was going to stop. Ive never seen anything like that.

I guess Oshkosh has 9 inches so far, I guess that is probably correct, but with the weight of the snow there is absolutely no drifting so it doesnt seem as bad, except for how heavy it is.

A little disappointed in the afternoon snow/precipitation. Had 5-6 solid inches this morning, shoveled that and since then it has come down as snow but has been much wetter and hasnt seemed to add much accumulation. This is in Oshkosh by the way,

Well for some reason I decided to hand shovel my driveway, looked like about 4-6 inches of heavy wet snow, but it moved really easily for some reason so I didnt fire up the snowblower, will save that for tonight. Got his car out of my driveway and into a small spot in his along side the dumpster. Now it is off to work.

Not sure how I should attack this yet. Looks like snow is pretty wet. I stupidly left the canopy on the frame on my deck and that snow is so heavy it has bent the metal like a pretzel, so looks like that might a waste of $300.00 unless I can straighten the metal next spring. I need to be in court by 930, which is only a mile away, but not sure it would make sense to snowblow before I leave. Also, my neighbor decided Monday to have a new roof put on. Needless to say, that job isnt close to being done and they have a giant dumpster in his driveway. So that leaves his Pontiac Vibe in my driveway, parking in my 4 wheel drive SUV. Might need to snowblow just to get his car out. EDIT - that video above cannot be for real.
