    A's broadcast was terrible. Brewers' broadcast has been fine so far. Ahh yes, I just clicked on the game and it defaulted me to the A's broadcast.

    Cant wait to go to Miller Park with my Dad and laugh at some of the names up there are we recall the misery that was the 1990s and early 2000s! This Wall of Honor will lead to many trips of miserable baseball nostalgia.

    Corey Hart missed all of 2013. He is coming of surgeries on both knees, the same surgery that has effectively ended Grady Sizemore's career. He took twice as much money from Seattle. It was a brilliant move on his part.

    I know Iowa also has a club team, but club team to DI Hockey is a pretty big leap. Still, if the Big 10 can get 8-10 teams that would be phenomenal. I love hockey, cant want to make it down to a game, my son will be skating the between-periods Mite game on December 28, so we will be down there for that one. Cant wait!

    Didnt want to start new topic, but how do we feel about the Brewers playing themselves out of a top 5-7 pick? As of today they pick 7th, but they are about 2 games out from picking about 14th. Would we rather have the team stay crappy and pick 5th or pick it up and pick 15th, or worse, 16th.

    A written statement would be awful and pathetic. Do it the right way. Why is this so hard for these thick headed athletes to figure out? I know they don't need great minds to do what they do, but a lawyer, an agent, a PR firm should. Own up, admit it all, even if you started in high school or college, let the public start liking you again.

    As a Wisconsin attorney I can tell you that sending requests to admit along with the complaint is a strategy used sometimes, but not often. Usually, as you stated, they are exchanged privately along with interrogatories. I read them as well, and like you I came away thinking Sasson is completely full of it, and this is coming from a guy who stopped defending Braun a long time ago. The requests to admit have little or nothing to do with the allegations contained in the complaint, which of course makes them irrelevant and pointless. For the non-lawyers out there it would be akin to me filing a lawsuit over a car accident and then asking 40 admissions involving cheating on your wife. I wonder what law school this guy goes to, hopefully he is a 1L and isnt close to practicing real law yet, because that was a pretty pathetic and preposterous attempt at legal work.

    Hard to argue the Brewers are unlucky after picking up K-Rod off the scrap heap and flipping him for Delmonico, but I agree, it could have turned out better. That said, if Gallardo and Weeks didnt stink and Ramirez and Hart were healthy we might be trudging toward another 80-82 season with a delusion of making the playoffs and trading Jimmy Nelson and Victor Roache for Jake Peavy or something equally crappy, so maybe we are actually lucky after all.

    I honestly think the Brewers should find a way to shut him down for the rest of the season, let his arm get fresh. Lots of innings on that arm.
