Free $10 voucher for food/merch/tickets to anyone attending a game in August: http://brewers.mlblogs.com/2013/07/29/fans_eat_free/ Pretty good deal, especially if you can find cheap tickets on the secondary market - you could come out ahead on the deal.

They've had similar $39 offers for everyone (not just STH) in the various all-inclusive areas this season. About 3 weeks ago I paid $39 each for Miller Lite Party Deck tickets and remember a similar deal for the Harley Deck. Don't think that has anything to do with Braun and more to do with those group areas not selling as well this season. Keep an eye on the John & Cait blog for those deals.

I'm guessing it'll involve free or cheap tickets up in the Terrace nosebleeds like most of their promotions.

Season was over anyway. Let him heal those nagging injuries and get the team a higher draft pick. As good as could be expected.

Yep, we're definitely taking back a bad contract (or two). Just have to hope that we're getting something decent along with the guy with the bad deal.

That sounds like below slot value? Haven't looked at anything for 2nd round picks and their slot values but that looks a little bit low? That was the exact slot value.

By the time appeals and lawsuits are over he'll end up missing half of next season. Ugh. Going to make all those who stuck up for him (Rodgers, etc...) look pretty naive.

Bucks hire Drew. Let the mediocrity continue. C'mon 8 seed... Just laughable.

This is Cena we're talking about. He'll be back on Raw with his unfunny juvenile humor before you know it (likely tonight). If they were going to write him off then they would have done the title change.

Brewers tweeted that they have some for sale at the team store so if you want one, you can avoid the high eBay prices.

Time for Burgos to get pie faced.

NBC is refuting this now despite that name being said on the scanner. Just crazy. Been listening to the scanner since 10pm. Too riveting to sleep.

Might as well announce the Braun suspension later today and we can just write off this season as a very, very bad dream.

Nice W but we still need a decent closer

    Nice job Ax...

20 pitches/inning for Yo. Some things never change...

What's wrong with not having a legitimate shot for one year? Take your chances with the young guys for one year and if you need to sign a FA next year, do so then. This deal stinks of desperation, and the Brewers are not desperate.

Re: Van Halen playing Oshkosh, DLR was on the radio a few days ago and talked about it and implied that another group was booked/planned for that headliner spot and it fell through, so they came to VH who agreed to fill in. So it's kind of a one-time deal for the US this year.

I'm surprised he hasn't left already. Contracts mean nothing in that line of work.

    RIP Paul Bearer

Buster Olney on Twitter: Response to many questions: We can't report 'might be' PED stories. Either a positive PED test or a suspension. No gray area, or no report. ESPN has never reported a "might be" PED story?

2 aisle club infield seats for me. nice.

Reports are they offered Jennings 4/$40mm before the season and he turned it down. That would have been severely overpaying for his awful 39% shooting. They should have took that rejection and traded him ASAP.

Rumble now pretty much guarantee Rock wins the strap to send the fans home happy. Sad that the finishes of the top 3 Mania matches are 95% certain (HHH/Cena/Taker)

Very glad to see the BiG logo didn't win. Most overrated logo in sports.
