  1. There never is. It's an automatic ejection to argue a review at all and it appears the umpires got it right.
  2. Might as well just include the play.
  3. Segura is unreal. I look at what we have gotten Segura and Gomez and it's hard to believe we are 4 games under .500.
  4. He was safe but the umpire handed out his own justice for slowing down. I don't like it and I don't like it when the umpires do the same thing on people who don't slide. You are either safe or out. They do the same thing on great plays as well.
  5. Since my question was answered I edited it out but I think the ability to pick your own seats is still interesting enough to warrant it's own topic. Thanks for the help regarding my question.
  6. I guess I am. Okay. Jeez. I've probably sat behind home plate 20 times and never noticed those were suites as I walked up )
  7. Okay that makes sense. What are the raised sections behind the lower level called? I've always looked at them as I walk up and just assumed it was the loge diamond box although I guess that doesn't make much sense as it's not the loge level.
  8. The Brewers website now allows you to pick your exact seat for the games which many of the other teams have been doing for years including minor league teams. A map shows you the sold and unsold seats. I like this WAY better as the computer ignores things like sun/shade, aisle, front row in a slightly worse section etc. etc. etc. The only thing I don't like about the Brewers set up is you can only look at one section at a time where as other teams allow you to freely move all over the stadium looking at the available dots in each section
  9. When the Brewers played the Dodgers during ST Vin announced that Lucroy was lucky to avoid being injured during the brawl between Mexico and Canada during the classic. He also kept calling one of our players by the wrong name but I can't recall exactly who it was I just remember laughing and thinking that perhaps he shouldn't have come back this year.
  10. Obviously it's not even close to 50 percent and the only people who would think it's that high are the people who drink heavily and make foolish decisions and assumes everyone is as foolish as them. When I drink I get a ride. Simple as that. How hard is it to have one person not drink at a game? Is everyone an alcoholic or something where they can't bypass drinking for one night? Drinking and driving is one of the biggest problems facing our society but we don't want to address it because so many "good" people make mistakes and we can't imagine our mother or our sister in jail. But the thing is that unlike gun control where the crazy person doesn't care about the consequences if we made DWI's laws tough enough the problem would virtually be solved tomorrow. If for instance you received 2 years in prison with no early release for a first time offense people would think twice before they made the decisions they do. Who would even chance it? They don't have these problems in a lot of foreign countries because of tough consequences.
  11. I would think that it's likely that Lohse will be traded this year if he contiues to pitch well because this team doesn't need him. It might even work out well for the Brewers as they could likely receive a more advanced prospect than they could have with the 17th pick. I would have to assume that Lohse wouldn't mind be traded to a contender either.
  12. My thought is that it has to be your internet service because I have watched every inning of the Brewers games this year except the weekday day game (I live in Saint Paul) and haven't had one issue. Years ago it used to buffer like your mentioning but that hasn't been an issue in several years Is it possible that other people in your house are watching netflix or doing heavy dowloading as you are trying to watch the game? I have never used the DVR so I can't comment on that. I also can't comment on your apple.tv but I find that most things apple are over-rated.
  13. Rickie's effort and decision making can be questioned the last few games.
  14. If he needs money it's not a big deal. He never made the money the players do now and I've seen his name at enough card shows to realize that's basically his job so he's subsidizing it. It's not like he can go get a regular job because we would all gawk at him. I've talked to him briefly and he seemed like a good guy and regardless of whether he has the trophies he is still the Cy Young award winner.
  15. That was literally the longest version of "God Bless America" I've ever heard.
  16. I have it going on my pc and on the roku right now. I don't know if you can use two devices in different locations as that would be a sign people are sharing accounts. This was supposed to be a reply to the guy who asked about the mlb.tv but his quote didn't show up.
  17. They like to write tickets to the men that go safely into the woods to pee completely out of site.
  18. I personally feel that it brings out the worst kind of fans. There is nothing more annoying then obnoxiously drunk people. Not only that but they then have to go to the bathroom and on beer runs about 12 times a game and never seem to follow proper baseball etiquette and stand up in the middle of a pitch or an at bat. Never again for me. Please don't judge Miller Park or Brewers fans by the opening day crowd.
  19. I would bet that nearly everyone with a fans choice picked all or most of the 10 bobble head games which means worse tickets. I have never thought about it but if you want the best possible seat you should pick less popular games (although those are the games you can pick up on Stub Hub cheap).
