I think Attanasio was the biggest reason for me becoming much more invested in the team. The low payroll and feeling that ownership would never invest to win made it a struggle to support the team. Even with the really good prospects coming, the thought was that we'd trade them or lose them in free agency after a few years. Attanasio came in from day one with the promise to win, showed active interest in the team, and followed through with opening the wallet to try to field winning teams.
