Phew. Would love to squeeze out another inning facing 5-6-7, but if Shaw or Kratz actually gets on you've got to pinch hit. -

The guys sitting in front of us were also upset about Broxton coming up in that situation, but I just assumed that other than Kratz, that was the only right handed option he had off the bench at that point. Mistakes with the bench started with Santana leading off the 3rd. That should have been Granderson, leaving Santana available in the spot Broxton was. Perez, ugh. I get the R-L staggering, but bad ABs coming out of the 6th spot isn't ideal.

Wan't familiar with that panel. My first impression was that if they want to just let Ortiz do the show by himself that would be best.

Granderson when Santana hit leading off an inning, Santana there would have been the better call.

CarGo would never have done the same as Yelich. He would have been off running and gotten thrown out going to third.

Garbage call on Aguilar. Sucks to get the leadoff batter on, Braun and Aguilar against a lefty and get nothing.

Heck of a tag by Arcia. Not Pineapple's greatest throw, but getting it there in time with Knebel pitching is an accomplishment.

Miley in the dugout makes you think he's starting game 3. Chacin would have game 5 on full rest. Could very likely be working from the pen, or the game 4 starter.

If we can get Knebel-Hader for 2-Jeffress it would be very ideal. Saves Guerra to follow Chacin, keeps Knebel and Jeffress in play tomorrow, and pretty much everyone fresh for game 3.

Like the pull, would have preferred Granderson to PH. High OBP guy, play the matchup, seemed to make more sense.

Surprised that all six outfielders made it. Not surprised to see Guerra and Peralta given the strategy Counsell is going with. I thought Cedeno was a lock, and Jennings would be likely; looks like they are really focused on the right-handed hitters of Colorado. Anderson goes from being penciled in to start the biggest game of the year to not seen since. Would not be surprised to see him traded. -
