  1. That's a home run in every other park since he didn't try to pull the baseball, partner.
  2. Let's see some consistent offense tonight. It frustrates me so much when we get the lopsided numbers in the first or second innings then pack it in and don't even threaten the rest of the game.
  3. It always seems to be Reynolds up with one out and a runner on third. And he can never just hit the fly ball. Another entry for next year's iteration of the "Where are they now?" thread. Out of baseball or independent ball is the only question.
  4. I knew when a runner was at third with one out it wasn't going to pan out.
  5. Over 300 miles from Baltimore and I'm blacked out on MLB.TV. Lame.
  6. A little more flexibility since the outrighting means there's a 40 man spot available. Ramirez will need a little longer than Monday before he's ready. Taylor Green?
  7. Was also thinking there was a good chance this would be the move. But if Nelson is optioned right after the start they could possibly activate Henderson, so the bullpen would only be short for a day, though Henderson for Wooten seems like a poor exchange for bullpen strength at the moment.
  8. Had my breath held the entire time. Somehow Ron's the only one who thinks Kintzler is clutch.
  9. Are they challenging the number of warmup pitches? This is fun.
  10. I can hit on Mallory. Mallory should bat 8th. She would probably get on base more than Bianchi.
  11. Roenicke rolling the die on the roster spot tonight. He's now in as good a position as he can be to campaign for this roster spot when Gorzelanny is activated.
  12. Defense doesn't make up for .163/.192 and zero extra base hits. Maybe in September, but it's a problem on a 25 man roster.
  13. 13 innings without a run. Tough when only three guys in the lineup have an OBP above .288. Bianchi hasn't had an extra base hit all year.
  14. Let's hope this isn't one of our typical score in the first two innings then call it a day showings for the offense.
  15. 31 pitch inning thanks to Lucroy drawing pitches 10-21 with two outs.
  16. Heck of an at bat from Luc. Could have literally changed the entire game in the first inning.
  17. Like the getaway day games for a change of pace, but not the series. Looks like the four gamer in August is N-N-N-D, the three games in September are D-N-N with the day game on Labor Day. Only other weird one I see is Toronto, with 12:37 and 11:37 start times, and between off days.
  18. How do you get the overlay? Been looking for the option and can't find it. Pitt's announcers bother me.
  19. This game will be work a bookmark for anyone who wants to show the possibilities of just putting the ball in play.
