  1. Well, there goes Figaro. Unfortunately the topic title band is back together, as Bianchi is back and starting at SS today.
  2. Has anyone ever gone on the DL for muscle atrophy from never pitching? That could be a new one.
  3. Colorado probably can't afford to plunk anyone until they tighten the defense up. The errors and passed balls would bring them around without anyone getting a hit.
  4. Walk all the way to first base on ball three, then whiff at ball four. I don't know to laugh, be disgusted, or what. Guess I'll be disgusted since the guy can't hit the plate.
  5. With the way runners were getting on early in the inning all night, one run through seven is fortunate.
  6. Can we finally plate a runner or will we load the bases with no outs and choke?
  7. Roenicke shy about putting Wang out there with a seven run lead? Figaro pitched two innings last night in Salt Lake City and two more this afternoon.
  8. Nice outing for Marco. This might be a big enough lead to not have to breathe into a paper bag with Kintzler pitching.
  9. Hill just up from AAA like Figaro, probably arrived this morning. Unlike Figaro, he didn't go two innings in AAA yesterday.
  10. A nice 5 or 6 inning start to get to Kintzler. Hopefully Badger Mutual doesn't drop our policy, cause we need some serious Insurance Runs.
  11. Should have known better. A Roenicke Special against an ace, you got pretty good odds. The Nats should have recalled someone with a double digit ERA in AAA to lock us down.
  12. Lucroy, Braun, and Ramirez all have to sit on the same day, and with Estrada pitching? Why not recall Schafer to fill in for Gomez while we're at it?
  13. Heck, I'd ask the Nats if we can finish the series at their place. The laundry should be done by now.
  14. Don't get it either. Some get nervously riled up when he comes in the game as if he's Axford, Turnbow, DeJean, piling runners on until one pitch closes or ends it. I expect him to close it down, and he's met expectation 93% of the time.
  15. http://www.jcehrlich.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2011/02/Rabbits-foot-charm.jpg Rabbits hate us.
  16. Roenicke has the strangest confidence in him. I have my breath held every time he goes out.
  17. I'm good with the scoring being done for the night now to make this pre-game prediction come true.
