    Was just thinking that there's no "last man on the bench" or "DFA fodder" in the bullpen. The bench last night consisted of Vaughn, Ortiz, and Frelick rather than a Perkins or whoever that guy we-DFA'd earlier in the week was where they play so sporadically you forget they're even on the team. So a bunch of players people complain should be in the lineup. Since Bryse Wilson has earned a spot, it might be another Anderson option to get Abner and Jojo into the bullpen. And depth behind them should they choose to rest some arms.

    I'd be inclined to hold onto him this offseason too. Given he will be 33, can't see another team giving us enough of a return that would make it worth losing a year of his services.

    Kind of weird they were thinking of it enough in spring training to be displaying color-coded cards in the dugout that told players when they were allowed to challenge based on the situation, yet we're five months into the season and they still haven't been able to pass down what those situations were and have the players just learn them.

    The first lineup they posted had Turang, Yelich, and Mitchell in it, Contreras catching, and no Frelick. Not sure if the Brewers social team or Murphy was braindead so that could be a fun evening IGT debate to be had only if it gets rained out.

    That's where I don't like it - the double standard. Sanchez is 4th in batter challenges in MLB despite having 200 fewer ABs than the guys above him, while also having one of the worst success rates. As far as Pratt taking a strike down the middle in a bunt situation, will he also be benching Mitchell for constantly striking out looking with runners on base?
