  1. Hopefully Burnes doesn't feel shaken by all this run support.
  2. I don't think he really needs a full rehab assignment.
  3. Nothing says we need Adames and Renfroe back soon than another day of Cutch hitting cleanup against a righty.
  4. Literally the most boring description of what prompted people to come to blows that I've ever seen. ?
  5. There's the downside of Taylor. There's two outs with Cain in center.
  6. Misses more games than Cutch and Cain combined and an OPS in AAA lower than Cain's when he is healthy.
  7. Toughed it out. The bullpen so many were spooked by early on isn't looking too bad. Perdomo and Kelley are eating non-garbage time innings, and Small's arrival appears imminent.
  8. Whoever played the "he said" drinking game to that last Sophia bit is going to need their stomach pumped. ?
  9. Feliciano sure has been good this month. Just needs to find his power stroke, which has been curiously absent. Should be a fun youth movement in the lineup next year with him and Turang targeted for the opening day roster, with Wiemer perhaps not far behind. Remarkable improvement from Michele Vassalotti in Carolina. He looked unimpressive last year. Full time move to the pen and whatever was produced a 26/2 K:BB ratio and I may not being seeing him in Carolina much longer.
  10. Mathias has been with two organizations (Cleveland and Milwaukee), was passable and versatile as a rookie in 2020, would have seen plenty of time last year if not for the injury, is tearing it up in AAA this year, and in the prime years of his career. He's my choice for the first call.
  11. All at once, the depth will be tested. I'll push Mathias as the first man up.
  12. Very curious. In addition to running several spots down from a full roster, it seems like there were other ways to get there between possible 60-day IL moves and what seems like little need for Ray and Reyes on the 40-man.
  13. CC back to the old hit a homer, get the next day off reward system. ?
  14. Gonna ask the Hiura haters to just take the L for the day ?
  15. 29 pitches yesterday enough to make Box unavailable today?
  16. Let's keep up this pace and only play about four extra innings games this year. The rules are lame.
  17. Lineup is greatly missing Adames and McCutchen. At least seems like Cutch could be back tomorrow and they're optimistic on Adames. Even so, some more spark would be welcome.
