Ugh. Another "not 2018 Yelich" moment. Actually, 2018 Yelich would have already won the game 2-0 on two solo shots. -
The NL is going to mess around and give the Cardinals another undeserved playoff berth. It is enough to make one ill. San Diego's manager needs to be out. How is that team 5 games over .500?
-
The recovery! Phew. Can we plate a couple, please?
-
[sarcasm]Giving up hits?! Send him down![/sarcasm]

Our #6 starter is now over 100 innings with a 3.02 ERA. I think he's officially been promoted to #5
-
Good zone by this ump tonight. So many umps penalize when a strike isn't caught in a way that "looks" good despite being a strike. One called strike outside to Narvaez was about the only obvious miss I recall.
-
"That's the most important thing, to get the victory" Considering the standings, I politely disagree with Rock on this one.
-
That's my question. That wasn't a long inning. He was over 100 after 7. I'd think the options are Devin-Hader or try to finish it at that point.
-
Every no hitter needs a really nice saving defensive play, right? Lo just grabbed one.
-
This pitcher has one weird pre-pitch routine.
-
I'd pull him. Seems Craig may be feeling bolder than I.
-
Craig might like his chances with Devin + Hader for a combined over sending him back out.
-
Who said the roster didn't have room for both Tellez and Vogelbach?
-
BA is very good. My issue is less with him leaving for NBA playoffs and national games than Bally not having a dedicated #2 guy. It's Lepay, until UW-Madison starts football season or they're having a fundraiser, then he's obligated to them. Then it's Levering, though he's already got a gig on radio. Then it falls to Coshun. Add Rock's time off and adding Singleton / Dillard to the mix, and it's very musical chairs in the booth.

Zavolas has really had a nice past couple of months after a slow start. He's gone at least 6 innings in 11 of his last 12 starts, and 7 innings in 5 of them. Hiura's last six games: 0-21 with 12 K's. Whatever the plan is at this point, it's not working.

Who had Lauer with a 3.18 ERA at this point in the season? And not in AAA.
-
The fakeout by CC. Hard to pull him when he's on his game. I like it.
-
Nice AB. Looked badly fooled after the first three pitches.
-
Uecker's call over the video. Perfection!
-
Even better it's the guy who probably chose to be part of this team when they re-started his rehab clock a few weeks ago. VogelBOMB!
-
This should only be for today, at least. Wong will return and Lopes can go back to being a below average AAA player.
-
A gem from Hauser! Props to Maile for coming up and catching it.
-
Light 'em up!
