  1. If Jeffress is available now's the time to use him. Corey's curve is not working, he's running on fumes.
  2. Don't mouth off at the ump if you don't want to risk getting tossed. Pretty simple.
  3. Woody, busting 97 mph heat on the edge of the zone. All night long. Now, this brings up the dilema - if the Brewers don't go 1-2-3 it puts them in a position to pinch-hit for Woodruff... but I'm not sure I want that. Woody is a decent hitter though. Who's even left in the bullpen tonight? At least 2.0 IP would be worth an AB.
  4. I disagree with the advanced metrics on Yelich's 2018 defense. He is well above average, in my opinion, and has the reputation to go along with that insofar as it matters for voting.
  5. Josh Kusnick retweeted a normal Jeremy Jeffress video 6 hours ago, so I doubt anything was afoot then. He probably just has a stomach bug.
  6. I hope they do. Colorado is the most appealing WC opponent if it comes to that.
  7. That end to the game was acceptable, but I also would have taken Knebel walking Martinez and getting ready to pitch to the next batter ... ... "Oh my Gawd, it's Jeremy Jeffress!"
  8. Plus they could just appeal the drug test and use him for the rest of the regular season anyways.
