  1. After the last week, they were bound to regress a bit against a decent team for RISP. I’m just happy they’re still hitting!
  2. I think I hate wisdom more than yadier Molina at this point. At least wisdom looks like he’ll be out of baseball when the cubs get a real team.
  3. Missed the IGT as usual with kids and the hot AZ sun but what a team this can be. you can put together the top 5 starters all Time for the brewers and this rotation is better, IMO. Now that the offense is finding some life it’s amazing. 3-4 runs per game will equal a World Series.
  4. If hiura were to get hot, I sure hope mccutchen “needing to stay fresh” wouldn’t get in the way. But I have a strange suspicion it would.
  5. Great to see for yelich. It’s a different team if you have a hitter to fear
  6. well I think we can start guessing who will be traded for, already. I know stearns didn’t have the greatest off-season upgrading the lineup but he must be even sicker than we are of nothing working. Give everyone what the cardinals have for years and gotten away with-try something!
  7. Oh, it’s bader delivering the hit. I think we enjoy padding his stats so he can stay in the majors at this point.
  8. Great win! Our record against waino has been abysmal and even though he’s 150 years old, winning against him and them is excellent!
  9. I’d just like to say how dare he ruin the fertility treatment provider’s career. ?
  10. THis is amazing! first one of my life, which makes it sad and highlights how awful the pitching has been for the 36 years of my life. I would offer him a large contract with an opt out at 5 years. paired with peralta (maybe a reworked extension) it could really open up a ton of possibilities to stay competitive long term.
  11. I would gladly give one of small/ Ashby as well as frelick, Hedbert Perez and turang / hiura (somebody must be able to fix him) to get this deal done. I think we need Mitchell to plug holes and take the lead off spot and the same goes for one of small/ Ashby but this guy is exactly what we need. Is that enough? it might be. throw in jbj to sweeten the deal!
  12. We were stung by a marginal offense, young pitching that wasn’t used to the workload (in addition to the 2020 COVID effect), and Williams punching a wall. if the starting pitching is all getting extra rest next season all year (and in the playoffs) then it becomes a managerial issue. they need to push these guys now that they’ve had a cautious year. we finally developed enough pitching to plug a couple holes with excess pitching which is something they’ve never done. I suppose that’s the silver lining of an otherwise disappointing season.
  13. What an epic collapse. making the NLDS shouldn’t mean crap to anyone in this organization anymore. we have a window. pony up and get it together.
  14. CC certainly got backed into a corner by this record-setting horrible offense. if last years offensive performance wasn’t the worst in playoff history, this year’s performance is going to take that award. just pathetic.
  15. Ned yost thinks this offense is just fine. It’ll be just fine.
  16. We decided to switch from producing hitters to pitchers a decade ago. I mean, we could produce both but that’s just crazy talk
  17. Well, I’m glad I would’ve had to buy Tbs to see this terrible effort at the plate. actually, I’ll just go back and watch a game from April/ may and I’ll get the idea.
  18. Agreed. I think Fried looks hittable. Second time through maybe. Fried is hittable like every other lefty we’ve faced this year. Let’s get rickie weeks and Corey hart out there
  19. Corbin walking guys and nibbling on the edges. throw your stuff, they can’t hit it unless you groove fastballs
  20. the bright lights have been turned on Corbin, are you ready?
  21. We’d better hope so, because I honestly don’t think we have a chance against the cardinals if we play them in the NLCS.
  22. Yes, but the tradeoff was he's a below average hitter. Yeah, if he could go ahead and lose this “swing change” he did in the offseason and fix all of his mental/ physical issues instead of his noodle Arm that would be great. Maybe O’Neil could spot him some roids too.
