Well that was an odd frame. Hopefully the approach to the last three hitters continues.

Aside from the fact that fans down here generally just seem bitter. Most likely because they feel they have to stick up for their teams with the overwhelming majority of people being from more established fan bases across the country (tons of packers, cowboys, and steelers fans here).

I love how much AZ fans hate the Brewers (the three or four hundred total). I get crap in nearly every situation when i'm out wearing my gear. That said, let's get a winning streak going today!

I get that there are those of you who are looking at peralta's overall numbers and do not want to bring him up. However he started the season out quite well until he was given the Brewers typical treatment of youngsters... call him up, sit him on the bench, let him have one semi bad relief outing, send him back down. That does mess a guy up and IMO he should be called up and given a shot before TT especially with the innings load differential.

Does this team have a hitting coach? Their approaches are some of the worst I have ever seen.

It would be nice if our few pieces that are considered desirable would be good long enough to maximize their return.

very surprising. I figured 10. Appealing will cut it in half... He will not learn a thing from this.

If this means peralta is into the rotation then i give my oh so important stamp of approval. If not, puke.

Zack Greinke close to hiring an agent.....

IMO greinke is different from Sabathia or Prince. Everybody knew (or should have) that there was no hope in keeping prince from the point that he declined any extension talks a few years back. CC loved Milwaukee but again... he was clearly the best starting pitcher on the market for years and had no reservations about pitching on the big stage. Now at the same time you might suggest that Greinke's anxiety disorder is overplayed but bottom line is he is one strange dude. I would fully support a "whatever it takes" attitude like the Giants had with Cain and like the Phillies have had (well, with everybody it seems). As others have pointed out with greinke/ gallardo and our young guys developing we're a legit central contender for some time. Nobody looks to be a juggernaut in the near future. -
Very nice win. Hopefully the offense shows up this next series to get a winning road trip.

greinke's delivery looks better every start. Very smooth ... he's gonna have an amazing year and I think they should've tried a little harder to wrap up the contract before the season.

That rickie weeks....So hot right now. High time to turn it around boys, with the astros and twins coming up as well as the cardinals coming down to earth we can jump right back in it.

I've been trying to pay attention to this team with one eye closed so far this season and a hand over the other but man things look desperate. If the bullpen doesn't get right quickly, start dealing and start the vent thread up.

Agreed on weeks sitting. Last year it looked like he had finally developed the type of approach that he absolutely needed to have. Only when he's seeing the ball extremely well does it appear that he can hit an off speed pitch so he needs to always attack the fastball. Now he's watching... waiting... for what I don't know. Give the guy a few days off Ron. Rickie is once again the most frustrating player to watch on our team. All the talent in the world but the hands are apparently too quick for the eyes, or something of that nature.

I think i'm about one injury away from a firm belief that some one up there is a cardinals fan...Especially after 06' and last season. Although I suppose we should be thankful that our big, moveable pieces haven't been injured yet (knock on wood)
