  1. I don’t think Adames or Escobar are going to be running hard. Neither did that inning. Adames probably should’ve been on 3rd on the Yelich single.
  2. They’re probably going to be over cautious with the lead we have in the division.
  3. Mertz can and will play better but our coaches do him no favors. No plays early to settle him into a game. Just hand him 3rd and 8’s all game and hope a pass to Barry’s boy will bail them out. It’s brutal.
  4. I’m fully on the side of a full tank job. Barry is now out of there. Let the new AD install a new regime of football. This style is old and stale.
  5. Klatt made a good point about the play design. if the RB goes out on a route then Ferguson is wide open. It’s all on the coaches. All of it. They are inept. They flat out suck at their jobs.
  6. I do agree that the ejection part of this is crap. Maybe after a second one. But just give the penalty on the first.
  7. We should get our timeout back from this as well. Ridiculous how long it took to remember the flipping rules.
  8. Most high schools do.
  9. What an absolute mess of a coaching on display today. Leonhard is the only one worth a damn. It’s too bad he didn’t want to help the Packers win a super bowl.
  10. Just kneel it.
  11. Ref seems very nervous.
  12. Chryst would make Rodgers look bad at QB. He sucks.
  13. They did just sustain a 15 play drive and are moving it again. With the PSU secondary being the strength of their D, just pounding it at them seems viable this week. Running should always be a thing we do and do well. Never throwing on 1st down, no pre snap movement / misdirection, play action plays for more than a 2 yard pass, etc… is what is just truly brutal for a really good D1 program with a bunch of talent.
  14. QB sneak is a new favorite I see too. No need for a play menu. Just write the 3 plays on a cocktail napkin.
  15. I wish we’d overhaul our offensive coaching staff. Fire them all. Start fresh. Im just tired of what we think is offense. Im sure they’ll run it down Nebraska’s throat and many will think we are good but this is just awful.
  16. This stuff is like watching paint dry. I don’t know how many games I’ll watch if this is how it’ll be. No creativity. A guy with Mertz arm ability has to be second guessing himself a bit.
  17. I’d argue we have been very consistent of staying competitive as well. The Rays have had a bit more playoff success but overall we’ve done well the past decade. I argue that the Rays have never had the situation we do right now. They’ve never been as talented pitching as we are currently. If there’s ever a time to go for it, it actually might be now.
  18. This isn’t really the night to be poking fun at other teams’ pitchers for giving up gopher balls. They just said that the Tigers have hit 3 or more HRs 4 games in a row. They pounded out quite a few in that one game at AFF too. Let me guess, the Reds have a better pitching staff than the Brewers too? It’s so weird how much of a Reds apologist (fan) you’ve been this season.
  19. Some people are unbelievable. You don’t get to plan births. As someone who has had a hard time to even have a child, it’s pretty disgusting to even see this bull crap. He misses a couple of games, oh well.
  20. Agreed. It is a great spot for the Brewers to be in. They are loaded with arms and can either have Hader shrinking games for them or reloading our talent pool. Maybe the thinking changes a bit if it is mission accomplished come November but I think this is the route they go this upcoming offseason.
  21. If they are all looking like studs, you keep them and make your runs with them and let the rebuild occur after. You may really never have the arms that we do currently ever again. I know the Rays are used as an example but I don't think they've ever had the stack that we do right now. Make your runs. Try like mad to win a WS and let the down years be the down years as a result of that attempt. That's how I'd view it if I was an owner.
  22. Anderson is a veteran, I don't understand this 100 innings threshold at all. Tack on that fact that he isn't signed for next year, and should be treated like a rented mule (nice, but not this nice). And then the Brewers would have issues signing guys like Anderson in the future. One of the reasons I think the Brewers continue to be successful is how they treat ALL players in their system. It's working too. So there is that.
  23. Walking guys eventually bites ya. For a guy that has a good fastball, he sure doesn’t challenge guys.
