    Lol I would like to see where I said that, cause don't think I did. But I guess whatever gets you pumped up about him. Brew4U said: Ryan Braun slashed .282/.363/.903 combined in the months of August, September and October a season ago and should be counted on doing the same. That line is in line with his career splits during those months. As the summer heats up, so does Braun. I didn't agree nor disagree with you. I just posted factual evidence that showed he actually hasn't been some huge second half player (compared to the first half) the last three years combined. I even said I would predict a .800+ OPS for him. I didn't doubt or call anything farfetched. We all know what you meant Mr. Negativity. #RyanBraunForever

    We find out just how much batting averages matter every time a few guys get on base. Higher average and there are more runs scored.

    I figured he would be on it. Mentioned it in an IGT. They had been using him pretty regularly the past few weeks and he's had some good at bats. Glad he gets a chance to redeem himself. New season!

    To put a bow on this one, Arcia finished the year with a 61 wRC+, last among qualifiers by a lot. Mallex Smith, Brandon Crawford and Yolmer Sanchez were tied for the spot above Arcia at 74. His overall fWAR (-0.4) was 133rd out of 135, ahead of Eric Hosmer and Khris Davis. And he laughed and smiled too much. What a bum.

    A look at Braun's Season- Overall Stat Line: 144 Games / 113 Starts - .285/.343/.505/.849 with 22 HR & 75 RBI Stats as a starter: .295/.354/.528/.882 with 22HR & 74 RBIS Stats as a sub: .138/.188/.172/.360 (32 plate appearances) Stats vs. RHP: .285/.334/.470/.805 (12 HR- 332PA) Stats vs. LHP: .287/.360/.573/.933 (10 HR- 175PA) Stats in 1st Half: .271/.320/.454/.774 Stats in 2nd Half: .307/.377/.587/.964 RISP: .290/.373/.561/.934 Overall, Braun had a pretty great regular season staying relatively healthy and contributing. His numbers as a starter are what you hope he can continue into next season. It's not a shock that he struggled off the bench or as a DH as I'm sure he just did not loosen up in the same way. Will be interesting to track next season but what will also be interesting is to see if 1B vs. LHP will be back in his repertoire.

    For me, it comes down to what lineup we can put out there. We are already on our B-lineup without Yelich. If we have to go to our our C-lineup, it might be a long day for us. Grisham- RF Grandal- C Moose- 3B Hiura- 2B Braun- LF Thames- 1B Cain- CF Arcia- SS If we can get this out there against him, I'll say we have a punchers chance at it.
