  1. This is a great description. This is essentially how I would describe his defense:
  2. He is basically a wet noddle armed T-Rex. This is a great description.
  3. It'll be 3rd time through for Anderson starting the 5th inning. I wonder if CC makes the move today or lets him try to get a little deeper? I think I would let him start the 5th.
  4. That throw. Wow. Full range of ability is on display for Hiura today.
  5. [sarcasm]Did you see Hiura smile after dropping that fly ball? I can't stand him.[/sarcasm]
  6. Just take the box off the TV and tell everyone to shut up about umps already.
  7. I'm just happy Arcia is back out there smiling again.
  8. Jake Gatewood? The guy that repeated AA this season and had a line of .187/.244/.331/.576? That Jake Gatewood!?!
  9. I would struggle with that move personally. He is 2 for 25 in September and has been lost all season. At this point Jeff Cirillo might be a better option! If we have an important PH at bat in a wild card playoff game ... I can't say I'll be excited if Shaw comes to the plate. I hope I'm wrong on every account. He's had some big at-bats for the Brewers over the last two weeks helping us get to the playoffs. His line over the last 14 days is .286/.500/.714/1.214 in 10 plate appearances with 2 hits (1HR), 3 walks, and 3 runs scored. I'm not saying I am totally sold on him being the Shaw of old but at some point, you have to look past the season stats for him and look at what he's doing currently. Today will tell us a bit too.
  10. I wouldn't fully count out Shaw for a roster spot. I know that will set a lot of people off but I could see it occurring for pinch-hitting purposes.
  11. Just lay down Reds. Let us have this one. You know you don't want the Cards winning this division.
  12. Braun now has 4 playoff appearances with the Brewers in his career. The Brewers only have 6 playoff appearances total in their history. #RyanBraunForever
  13. Moose is basically a middle of the road 3B. I’d welcome him back with the right deal but let’s not get crazy.
  14. My bad. I though it was a win and a loss gets us in. Well that’s great news!
  15. I really want the Crew to be able to celebrate tonight. Let’s go Pirates.
  16. Just a reminder that Shaw has posted a .400/.625/1.000/1.625 over the last 14 days (8PA). He has done his job as a pinch hitter during this run we’ve had. He’s absolutely stunk this season but he’s helping propel us to a postseason birth.
  17. I didn’t realize Braun decided to fly an airplane around the bags tonight. Would love to know the backstory of that.
  18. I didn’t realize Braun decided to fly an airplane around the bags tonight. Would love to know the backstory of that.
  19. What we really need is for Arcia to hit .330 down to San Antonio for a couple months next year. Then he'd be a future superstar! A true, natural hitter! To believe one of the WORST hitters in baseball will hit or even defend as well as Iglesias is the “crazy” thought, then you have the bad baseball IQ, you know the “Villar” effect, that can’t be qualified analytically that brings him down even further. Arcia is such a terrible hitter(outside of the playoffs)he’d be lucky to hit .285 in the PCL. Which, as you know is 100 points lower than Grisham or Freitas hit there. Oh, and the both of them(Grisham,Freitas)are actually pinch hitting at about the same rate 1-12. At some point moving forward, this site, you know, the 96% of which said the brewers weren’t going on a run in September, even though Stearns/Counsell the last 2 September’s dominated their competition, will realize how foolish they were again with regards to Freitas. It won’t be this year, you can thank his injury and Grandal for that. You fired Stearns already. You have no legs to stand on with anyone around here. Give it a rest.
