  1. Another thing to discuss with Houser is will he figure out how to get lefties out? 2019: .282/.364/.482/.846 Career: .267/.361/.441/.802 Between this and 3rd time through stats, it just doesn't add up so far. I'm sure he will stick in the rotation for the remainder of the season but I hope they reconsider going into next year.
  2. [sarcasm]You even have me BOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!![/sarcasm]
  3. It wouldn't shock me to see Theo bail to another franchise.
  4. Seth McClung & Aubrey Huff duke it out! More
  5. While everyone is laughing at Miami currently, if they nail those drafts, they set themselves up for a big future.
  6. Yeah, I don't understand the knock-on Thames from some. He's put together a very nice season. He is a player that I don't understand the negative defensive rankings because he makes some really good plays at 1B. Either way, for the production he brings as a lefty bat, I'm guessing he gets exercised and will do just fine next season.
  7. My guess: Gamel- RF Grandal- 1B Hiura- 2B Braun- LF Moose- 3B Pina- C Grisham- CF Arcia- SS
  8. Been a really rough homestand for Grandal and I have to worry how fatigued he is right now. I wonder the same with Grisham as he has never had a baseball schedule this deep into the season. I don't expect Grisham in the lineup tomorrow and I'm also anticipating a Grandal day off, Pina returns and Austin at 1st. I thought it was really odd to sit Braun and Cain together tonight. Feels like we could do a better job spreading off days out. I don’t like taking vets out of the lineup like that.
  9. Just have to put more balls in play. The last two games offensively is scary as they just cannot afford to go cold right now.
  10. Burnes has a proven track record as a starter in the minors. Houser does not. There’s nothing that indicates this will work with him. Other than some people touting a “new” pitch that doesn’t seem very effective on his starts.
  11. Starters give up runs every once in a while. His over 5 ERA as a starter tells me he gives them up all too often.
  12. Well, that's a lineup. I'm in good foul ball territory with all those lefties.
  13. He stinks. Own it.
  14. But with the new TV money, and saving up in all of our losing seasons, and so many people coming to our games, and beer sales, annnd.... oh forget it.
  15. -2-back of the NL Central -Tied for Wild Card Yesssssss!!
  16. Fair assessment on this. It just doesn’t add up for the Brewers.
  17. The Brewers have home field advantage in every tie scenario. ...not against the Cardinals.
  18. Drew Pomeranz as a reliever: 1.94 ERA with 41 strikeouts in 23.2 innings.
  19. At 82-69, the Brewers have secured a winning season for the sixth time in the last nine years. They had six winning seasons in the 27 years years before that. There’s a few cheapskate owner jokes in here but I’ll let Mark Antanasio’s record speak for itself.
  20. 13 games over .500 and we secure a winning season!! This is only the second time we have had back to back to back winning seasons which matches the 78-80 seasons. (They averaged 90 wins and we would have to finish with 90 wins to match that) With win number 82, the 2019 Brewers move into a tie for 16th place in regular season wins with the 2014 squad.
