  1. Can’t rush a hammy. He will end up hurting it again in a hurry.
  2. You were told to move on from your conspiracy theories of our owner being a crook and making up your own numbers on how much money there is to spend, not from answering for your other craziness you’ve never owned up to. You NEVER take ownership of your crap. You don’t change your ways. Don’t you wonder why just about anyone and everyone (even posters who are never combative) chime in on you? Figure it out bub.
  3. I see a lot of those "free" tickets up for sale on sites so I wouldn't doubt if it is a light crowd tonight. I'll be there though!
  4. I don't think it is crazy to think we finish 7-6. I hope we have a better record but come on, we've all watched this team this season. They could finish 3-10 and I wouldn't be completely shocked. Disappointed but not shocked.
  5. Doesn’t matter. This is where the human being with common sense trumps the computer. Right? That's the difference between a projection and a prediction. This. Words matter.
  6. So algorithms should be based on beliefs and opinions?
  7. The Brewers saved (DRS)116 runs last year and so far this season they have saved 25. I think there are more factors than our pitching coach.
  8. I was having fun reading the responses. To think that a trivial position such as the pitching coach is actually more important than holding the actual players accountable for their own performance? It's pretty funny actually. Then you having the ego to claim that you "won" the argument? Heck, that is message board gold! Joey. The dog is very lonely man. This got me laughing just because of your own username.
  9. The Brewers have played 41 games decided by 1-run. They have won 26 (26-15)of those games. The Cards are 21-21 and the Cubs are 19-22.
  10. Who lets these “fans” on here anyways?... Go take a few uppers or something.
  11. He deserves credit for not letting things completely go down the drain I give you that but this is where we as fans can't be swayed by mediocrity. If you think this team can and should pitch better than you should be open to making a change. I am. I’m not sure they could be pitching better than they are though. I mean, they’ve been really good and are getting production from cast off type players. I mean it’s not like Hook has a bunch of studs that are pitching mediocre.
  12. I think he’s done a better job than a lot will give him credit for. After the horrendous start to the season, this staff has settled in to being pretty solid and lately pretty good. They are a big reason this team has a chance at a playoff spot. Not sure how one can discredit that.
  13. With their 80th win today, the Brewers move into a tie for the 20th place in Brewers history. They are tied with the 1996 and 2009 teams who finished 80-82.
  14. With Braun’s salami today he moves into sole possession of the 100th place home run hitter of all time. It was also the 232nd homer of the season for the Brewers, a new all-time record.
  15. 11 games over .500
  16. I was on Hook’s case earlier this season but they’ve had success with a lot of cast offs this year too. He’s got to get some credit for turning this around.
  17. 7 for 47 with a huge donger to help save the season much like his blast a few nights back in Miami. Had a big double against the Cubs in that series as well. He’s old. He’s streaky. He’s hurting. But he’s as clutch as they come and we are going to need more of it because this team lacks it. I don't believe I've ever heard a home run called a "huge donger" but I'll thoroughly support this term. Expanding on this, "donkey donger" would be appropriate too [sarcasm] It’ll probably be added to the list of words not to be spoken.[/sarcasm]
  18. He's been terrible. 7 for 47 with a huge donger to help save the season much like his blast a few nights back in Miami. Had a big double against the Cubs in that series as well. He’s old. He’s streaky. He’s hurting. But he’s as clutch as they come and we are going to need more of it because this team lacks it.
  19. Rumor has it, the Packers thought they had the first down and it was 1st and 10, not 4th and 1. I'd be curious to know if the down marker on the sideline had changed by mistake. Yeah, I walk it back on the criticism due to that alone. I did not see Rodgers complain to the ref either but I guess he did right away.
