The Brewers have a 3.47 bullpen ERA in September..... You can't, with a straight face tell me you have confidence in more than Hader though. Come on now Sure do. Suter has been awesome. Claudio is a great lefty specialist. Guerra has been steady. Black has been electric. Albers has had some great moments. Edit: Forgot Pomeranz. He's been very good too. It's taken them all to do their jobs for us to be in this positon.

Me likey! I'm doing my best. My wife even forced a Ryan Braun shirt upon me when I attended the game with my 3 year old last week to match his. What a good dad you are! I will say, there are worse things in the world though.

Grandal had a slump but has since come out of it. He's not tired. He's not wore down. He's ready to charge into a damn playoff spot. He will probably catch about 125-130 games this season. It's not that crazy. Molina has done that for about 4 decades straight.

We all have no idea how it would have turned out had they not cleared out every resource that they have and I am sure the pressure of getting a WS win was immense but you do have to wonder if it was their best move. No real way to tell but I hope we shrink their window again this year by knocking them out. -

I do agree that we are either at the high point of the season right now and will come crashing back to reality over the next week or so OR this is the jumping point to another playoff run with a very shaky roster. Either way, baseball matters mid-September and they have everything in front of them that they want to accomplish.

Way to be a dang buzzkill. I personally thought it was pretty cool of Braun to do that. I’m sure his teammates thought it was cool as well. I think sometimes we forget that these guys are human. Yeah, Braun didn’t have a good game tonight. There are other ways to make positive contribution, and he may have found one. Hopefully his bat heats up, because they are going to need it. It's why my avatar is what it is. The guy was an absolute putz and made his mistakes but has since been a great guy and teammate for the Brewers organization. Yelich looks to be his best friend and they obviously care for each other greatly. I am sure Braun is/was affected by the news of his buddy having to miss the rest of the year and he tried to do something special for him and for his team. But you still get the butthole comments from the peanut gallery no matter what. Here was the finishing quote:
