  1. Idk how you can say that. The original productions are getting Emmys and Oscars now. There are so many good shows on Netflix I could rattle off 10-15 without having to think and it has some of the best documentary material around. It was trash about five years ago but it is fantastic nowadays. It absolutely blows cable out of the water. Just can't think of too many shows that are must-watch on there for me.
  2. Who cares? Why would I even begin to speculate it? They've pushed their opening day payroll to compete this year. Made plenty of moves to put a really good team on the field. The payroll is the highest it has ever been at this point in our organization's history. I'm sure there is room if the right fit comes open throughout the year. There should be. Maxing out would be complete, an utterly, idiotic thing to do to yourself. Leaving a possible contending team with no wiggle room would be just flat out stupid. I don't know how else to say that. But spewing that MA is lying when saying all-in isn't true either. They have a budget. They have their parameters to work within as they should. You may want a winner but I'd be willing to bet that MA does too. He's shown that he's willing to do things that no other owner in Milwaukee has. He's fully invested with us in this. Other than that, again who honestly cares what I think their "breakeven payroll" is? What I get on you about is your agenda and your use of your opinion for fact. And you rationalize it with a sob story of how long you've been a fan of the Brewers like that should matter for being flat out wrong in many of your posts.
  3. Bam $ 50,000,000 not included in any of these figures. If Attanasio wanted to pay 80% of maryvale upfront he could have with bam money.
  4. Netflix will turn into a thing I buy for like a month a year and binge the things I want to watch. Or I'll find a way to stream it on other sites. 95% of the content they have is garbage.
  5. Never seemed like Hundley had a good enough arm nor accuracy to be an NFL QB. Those are two pretty large things that are hard to make up for.
  6. In 2012, did they spend $60M on a new Spring Training facility? More people just tossing around numbers that mean rather little and have very little substance behind them.
  7. Never watched Arrested Development before. Started it on Netflix and I enjoy it. Fun show.
  8. There is nothing "fact" about that. That is 100% pure speculation. You really had to say that? Speculation or guesstimate yes it is! You certainly don't post as though they are "guesstimates" or any sort of "speculation". You've made it pretty clear you don't believe ownership at all and that the numbers you keep trolling out there are the ones we should all believe.
  9. Fact- Mark Antanasio $15 billion in his bank. He should be able to afford to give Kimbrell $500 million. See I can throw out numbers to. But just like a certain poster, they are meaningless and almost a certain to be wrong.
  10. I have wanted to read that book but haven't gotten around to it. Yeah, Favre was definitely not nice to him. Took out his anger for Ted Thompson on Rodgers. Very childish and wasn't a good look for Brett. Brett was the alpha male around Green Bay (or at least he thinks he was) and Aaron being overly sensitive was a perfect target for stuff like that. I'm sure both regret how they behaved during the entire process. It is nice to see that both have grown up a bit and seem to have a pretty solid relationship now.
  11. Poor Aaron. Hope he is okay.
  12. Man, I loved Craig Nall. There's a blast from the past.
  13. Why, because it’s in his best interest to tell the truth the whole truth and nothing but the truth? No, because you know jack squat and are tossing around numbers that aren't at all factual. Just stuff you've made up in your own mind to justify your opinions on ownership. When you get something factual, bring it to the table and I am sure we'd all be glad to hear it and discuss what ownership should be doing.
  14. Well, there is a reason some tend to believe an owner over some poster on the internet making up numbers to justify their agenda. One has credibility. The other, well, yeah.
  15. Most forget that Peralta, Woodruff, and Burnes were not in the pen for the full season last year. Just remembering the final stretch.
  16. If that were what you went by, you better get on the trade Huira train pretty fast as he's been pretty awful to start his time in AAA. These young kids have ups and downs. We see that even when they get to the MLB. Overreaction one way or the other is just generally not good practice. After tonight's game, Hiura's AAA OPS is over 1.000... Perfect example of small sample sizes in April.
  17. Yep ... regardless of all the "bullpenning" noise, the point remains that you put your top arms in the starting rotation. These guys are great talents, and are going to provide much more positives than negatives this year. It's important to remember that, while the team made some short-term moves to go after a World Series this year, the core is going to be around for at least 3-4 more years. The growing pains with the young starters now will likely pay off down the road. I’d rather have gone for the WS than rip apart the strengths of the team that was one win away from the WS last year. Why can’t they develop in the bullpen? Also, if the plan was to develop these guys, we should have kept Pina and Kratz as our catchers. No reason to bring Grandal in for one year if this isn’t “the year”. You can’t develop and win at the same time? The one game away from the WS thing is a nice line to use but many things lined up for that to occur a year ago.
  18. Most fans are going to value winning over basically anything else. The time was now to allow our young pitchers the opportunity to pitch. I said this in another thread, making decisions based off a few outings is not wise. And those that want to stuff those guys back in the pen, there is no guarantee that they perform like they did a season ago there either. We can’t be a franchise to be afraid of letting young, talented pitchers have opportunities.
  19. Hiura has a homer and a double tonight. Heating up down there in AAA as Shaw had to leave the game. Although x-rays negative.
  20. Very enjoyable (nerve racking) game one for my Blues!
  21. You just can’t be serious with some of these takes. So you don’t agree we over-perform as a fan base? Or is it that we haven’t over-performed for enough years? Or is it you believe our owner truly is “all in” THIS year financially? Be careful how you answere the last question, with all of this new information. No matter what’s said to you, you’ll continue to spew your same agenda. You’ll tell me he should be willing to lose money for a chance at a winner because it’s not your money we are talking about. Very easy to spend others money for your entertainment. It’s truly remarkable how you dismiss MA and all that he has done and is doing for this franchise because you don’t get your way on adding a free agent to our pen. It’s beyond childish and flat out silly. And yes, our fan base might’ve outperformed last year but that’s what occurs when you win. But you’re also looking at a club that is middle of the pack in payroll (the highest it’s ever been) and is still at the bottom of the league in market size, revenue and overall value of their team.
  22. You just can’t be serious with some of these takes.
  23. -----BUMP----- NHL PLAYOFFS ARE HERE!! GO BLUES!!!
