  1. I am in the group of Fire McCarthy because I want to see the big baby Rodgers still be uncoachable for someone else.
  2. I’m almost to the point where I never want to see Rodgers win anything ever again. He’s just really rubbed me the wrong way over his career and especially now. Just as done with him as I am with anyone else on this team.
  3. "For this team next year" was what I included for a reason. I have been a huge advocate of holding onto Hiura. He's going to be a stud. But I would still take Realmuto/Merrifield over Pina and Hiura on this team for next year. If we are playing the long game, as we should, then Hiura shouldn't really be moved for just about anyone.
  4. For this team next year? It is easily Whit & Realmuto. Those guys would transform the lineup once again. Pina is a nice catcher that would be a great backup on a really good team while Hiura is still going to take some time.
  5. This came from @Bucksbrett twitter account who broke the Moustakas trade before Rosenthal last year. So take it how you want to.
  6. There might be players that are scheduled to play in the World Series getting awards. Not the best time to do it if we'd expect those players to be at an awards ceremony the night before the World Series is to start. The NFL has no issue with what they do. Plenty of times the celebrations still happens with their MVP held up in a hotel room waiting to play in the big game.
  7. Couldn't tell ya the radio guy that mentioned how dumb it is that they prolong this award season but I agree with him. Why not have a televised awards ceremony the night before the first game of the World Series? Put on a show and celebrate your players, managers, teams, etc... Announce the next year's HOF class as well. Make it a celebration of the game. The NFL for as lousy as their product has become on the field does it so well off the field. Figure it out MLB.
  8. They look like a top 4 team in the B10. I say that without seeing many of the other teams but the level of the starters looks like they'll be in the mix up top. Which would mean we would be back in the NCAA tourney, which would be a great thing.
  9. Yes, if Counsell wasn't such a bad in-game manager, we would've won 100+ and won the World Series. Just cannot believe how he pissed away this amazing roster he was given. Oh, wait... They exceeded every single expectation of every single stupid beat writer and TV analyst that there is out there. Hell, most of them cannot spell or pronounce our roster so I wouldn't expect them to vote for our players and coaches for the awards that they deserved. Good thing that literally no one cares about awards in pro baseball. Very few people even remember who won and who lost from year to year. The MLB is a complete and utter joke in how they promote their game, their players, and their teams. They could be doing much more. So much more.
  10. Need some bench guys to get going but this was a fun Badger win.
  11. If anything, Manny has shown to not be a starting catcher in this league. His body doesn't hold up well enough to be counted on for playing 2/3's of the games. Even during his minor league career, he never caught more than 100 games in a season. He'd be a great backup to a better catcher. He'd stay fresh. His defense wouldn't hurt you. And he'd occasionally have a nice game hitting.
  12. If anything taught these guys about their Super Bowl run is that any year, can be your year. The defense is playing well together. Is it great yet? No. But it is getting to the point where they are not a liability to this team. If we clean up special teams and find some consistency on offense, good things will happen for this team.
  13. This was perfect.
  14. Sad ending to a great Packers career. Cobb should've been moved as well.
  15. The passing game is still out of whack. Rodgers almost refuses to hit check-down passes until the very last second and usually by then it is covered. Plenty of guys on twitter tweet plays where Rodgers has people open, especially underneath, and he doesn't throw the ball to those receivers. I am amazed at a QB that is so good that almost refuses to do the easy. We designed plays to get the ball into the hands of Jones in the first series or two and then it seemed to fall off script. Graham isn't a difference maker. They refuse to use Mercedes Lewis in the passing game. So much so that when they did throw it to him, the Dolphins didn't even cover him because they know it is like seeing Big Foot. Just a little stunned at how hard the Packers (Rodgers & McCarthy) are making this game when it could be fairly simple for them.
  16. I don't think Jones is a workhorse type back. I do believe he should have between 15-20 touches every single game though.
  17. MadBum was great. His stats are deceiving though based on the ballpark he gets to pitch half his games in. Stay far away as he'd look just about average to above average in Milwaukee.
  18. It is 100% rumor and speculation. There has been nothing confirmed, and there likely never will be. Correct but I'll eat my shorts if it isn't true. Every sign is out there that points to it.
  19. Get Segura and Paxton from them and call it a day. Then the next day, go get Realmuto. Cain- CF Segura- 2B Yelich- RF Realmuto- C Shaw- 3B Braun- LF Aguilar- 1B Arcia- SS Whoooooaaaaa Nelly!
  20. I don't believe the refs are out to get us but I do believe we have been on the bad side of a lot of really questionable calls this year. In the NFL, all these teams are so close and all it takes is a few really terrible calls to go the other way and you're losing a game.
  21. Solid answer from the offense. Jeez.
  22. The nfl hates GB this year.
  23. Then make it a tie like they did for first base.
  24. So many wanted to see Breeland play and I’m just not seeing it so far.
