I mean, 1 day off, sure, but the guy is still OPSing like .950. And that’s great but he just doesn’t look right. His last whole month he is batting .214 and in his last two weeks he is ops’ing about .530 The all star nomination might’ve done more harm than good with him.

No, he’s not one of the best defensive catchers in the game. And they are 3-3 in the games he’s played since his return. There is a reason Kratz is stealing playing time from him and it isn’t because Kratz is good. It's like saying YuniB was the MVP of that team. He was pretty stellar in the playoffs.

You really can’t understand the pessimism towards moving Shaw to 2B and just hoping for the best? He’s never, ever, played a game there. It’s great that you’re going to be positive about it. I too am hopping for the best from this. But you can’t understand the pessimism? Really?

Phillips was pretty valuable to us late last year. I was looking forward to that this year. Granted we have Cain and Yelich now but ya just never know. Tough to see him go for a two month rental.

It’s so odd to see so many that roasted and had many posts that were filled with such anger against Villar because of his defense (which he ended up turning around this year) just say oh this is fine. Shaw will be fine at 2B. Maybe this will be fine. Doubtful, but maybe they end up moving someone to make this make more sense. (Thames on the move?) either way, Arcia will be the glue that can hopefully save this bad defensive ball club we will have now. (Clancy, don’t respond to me that Hager is taking Arcia’s place. Just stop it.) I know if I was a Brewers pitcher I wouldn’t be too stoked about this move. Part of the reason their numbers are what they are is because of strong defensive play. Oh well, Stearns will have to live this one down if it blows up. Couid be a move that really takes him down a peg or eventually has us questioning if he’s the right guy for this job. Or he could look like a genius again. Should be some real interesting games coming up.

I hate to even bring this in here but a twitter guy (@bucksbrett) broke this trade three hours ago. Even Ken Rosenthal gave him credit. Crazy. Tweeted that a person in the organization told him.

We built a division lead partly due to the defense. We sent down Arcia and we saw how that affected our IF defense. Now we are going to play Shaw at 2B and hurt it even more. This stinks to me.

Probably the first move I’ve seen Stearns make where I just can’t figure out why. I mean, there had to of been a better way to use Phillips than to get a player we really don’t need.

Braun should ask Aguilar about launch angles. Chicks dig launch angles? I’d assume that’s how he pulled off the lingerie model.

Take out his rough May and he has been very good especially in his recent starts.
