  1. If you’re going to go straight by the stats, Arcia never starts another game for us. The point was to bring him back up and stabilize our IF and let him hopefully continue his hot stretch from AAA. Being on the bench doesn’t allow this to happen. If he’s not going to at least start against LHP, then put him back in AAA and be done with it.
  2. Maybe he is actually being truthful when he says he loves playing in Milwaukee.
  3. It probably would depend on how it ended too. Say he was let go to the Dodgers and he helped them win a WS. There would be some fans pretty ticked off at Stearns. But yeah, the casual fan doesn’t care much. He’d be forgotten until he’s put in the wall of honor and whatever else Milwaukee does with him.
  4. For some reason I thought Shields was a good post season pitcher. I was wrong.
  5. If Zimmerman wasn’t from Wisconsin would he even be brought up? He is overpaid and not good.
  6. I really hope this should have been in blue. I didn’t think it would even need to be. I call it my Skip Bayless post on Trout.
  7. I wouldn’t trade anything. Obviously he’s just not a winner. I mean look at his ball clubs since entering the league. Heck, even as the greatest player of all time he can’t even market himself to people know who he actually is.
  8. Clutch stats. This team doesn’t have many performers when the chips are down. Tough to replace if you’re serious about winning this season.
  9. Unless it is LA, he probably wouldn’t.
  10. We are going to need Braun if we are serious about making a run. Aguilar is already trending towards having a meltdown and we don’t have much options for a RH bat unless Santana were to figure himself out.
  11. If you’re Aguilar, do you even accept the assignment? I know you say 2% but there’s 0% he clears waivers and probably 1% he would actually take the demotion.
  12. Aguilar isn’t going anywhere and shouldn’t. He should start coming off the bench more it Saladino will likely be gone. Shouldn’t need him.
  13. It’s the national league. Double switches happen a lot. Shaw was last out. Pitching change coming. It made a ton of sense to put Perez in incase the game gets tied up.
  14. What a great win this was! And it got done well before midnight. I appreciate it Brewers.
  15. He is beginning to feel like that guy that wasn’t going to make the roster out of spring training. But slumps happen, hopefully he can figure it out and at least be a solid bench bat for us if nothing else.
  16. Or hide it right on top of the plate... That’ll work, as long as Shaw now puts one out in the seats.
  17. Since Counsell’s claim that Knebel was going to pitch in other innings than the 9th, he hasn’t.
  18. Wade Miley has a 1.5 ERA as a Brewer so far. You just can’t make some of this stuff up.
