  1. Very possible. It does make some sense to try to drive up the price since they have time. Hopefully Stearns has some sort of deadline as the games continue to be played and he becomes less and less valuable to the team trading for him.
  2. And batters are paid to hit. What’s your point? Wildcats point still remains that he was a bit anxious in his at bat. Maybe had he waited for a strike, we’d be trying to close this one out right now.
  3. By swinging at two balls in three pitches. You do realize that those pitches appear to be strikes at first right? He was trying to go the other way with the pitch You do realize that they were still balls, right? Calling it being a little over anxious was probably on point whether he was trying to hit it to right field or the moon.
  4. So much swagger the Orioles have won 25 games and are second to last in runs scored.
  5. He looked like a batter trying to do the “right” thing and hit the ball the other way By swinging at two balls in three pitches.
  6. There comes a point where you just don’t deserve to win a game.
  7. This Barraclaugh guy and Castro would be fine additions to this club.
  8. I know I made posts early in the year about Hader Jeffress and Albers pitching too often and getting wore out before the playoffs. Counsell seems to be playing the long game with a lot of decisions. I’m all for it. We aren’t even to the “grind” part of the season yet.
  9. I’m glad Hader got a week off in the middle of continued winning. It’ll pay dividends later in the season.
  10. This Marlins team might be laughable but they’re swinging it as of late.
  11. Should have been strike three to Castro, turns into a homer by Castro. Barf.
  12. Pretty sure he’s starting Thursday.
  13. Thank you for posting that Danzig. Like I mentioned earlier, the boards lost their minds when Miller was traded to get some reps at SS. Well here’s Machado and he’s worse defensively but here’s our farm. Makes no sense to me.
  14. That’s way to much. Way, way too much for two guys that won’t be Brewers a season from now. I disagree, cause the Orioles would be getting quantity over quality You might be giving up your starting catcher for the next five seasons alone not to mention two high quality arms.
  15. Realmuto is missing for the birth of his child? [sarcasm]Scratch him off th trade list then.[/sarcasm]

  17. I’ll be honest about it, I’m not all that thrilled with the idea. I don’t think it pushes us nearly to where we need to be so giving up quality prospects for him kinda stinks to me. I know I’m in the minority... So drastically improving our worst offensive position when we are currently the team with the best record in the no doesn't get us where we need to be? I think some people decided this team wasn't good enough at the start of the year but haven't noticed how good they actually are. If you are a top 4 team in your league you can win a world series. The Brewers are easily top 4 right now I don’t think the improvement is as drastic as you think it will be. They do play defense too. It’s not that I wouldn’t want him on my team it’s that I don’t want to part with multiple quality pieces for 75 games of Machado. We can improve that position other ways than Machado. Was hoping for a little Stearns creativity. But he’s the big name, so I get peoples excitement.

  19. King Kong on the mound.
  20. Chris Archer certainly does and believes others should as well: Verlanders response is exactly what some are saying:
  21. Castro is probably as good or better defensively than Machado.
