  1. Yes, empty the farm. Trade them all. Should work out really well.
  2. Sogard and Miller aren’t comparable dude.. I’m not even going down this road with you because it’s just that stupid. Its like comparing Coca Cola with Sams Cola. You want to hang onto 100 at bats over Sogards career, go ahead. But it’s making you look very foolish. But hey, I’m glad you’re hoping one of them gets hot. Miller is off too a good start with his .900 OPS in a Brewers uniform.
  3. I wonder if the Reds hasn’t put themselves in such a huge hole if they would’ve been active at this deadline for pitchers.
  4. I guess I'm missing where the brilliance is. When he hits a homer every now and then between the first pitch ground outs and three pitch strikeouts? Perez isn't half bad as a utility player. I certainly don't see him as the problem except maybe that we have to rely on him as "The Bat" when we decide to sit down our studs for rest in the 4th game of series. BTW, Braun's nicks are really starting to be a burden for us. He's old but not that old. My Gosh. I like Braun but I'm not sure our team has the sorta urgent attitude needed to take a pennant. Don't get me wrong, they are professional, but WS teams are more than professional. It's more than a job. These rants are hilarious and making today’s game a bit better. From a comical standpoint.
  5. Madness. I listened to Counsell talk about no depth at all and then I look at the lineup and see arguably the NL's hottest hitter on the bench. Sure, he didn't get a hit yesterday and is facing a RH pitcher today but he has been on fire against LF and RH pitchers plus we have no depth. So he gives Aguilar a rest day. Wow. BTW, that RH pitcher sucks and has never been good, but against this lineup, he may pitch a no hitter and be a part of a shutout. One look at the lineup and I'm canceling my plans to come to the park on Tuesday. The last several series, we play all of our best players the first game or two.....then after we secure at least a split in the series, we put in absolute crap lineups and lay on the ropes. This team isn't a driven team. Soft. For that reason, I'm out because I can't put up with the madness until we focus and stop the madness by having our best player on the bench on Sunday rest days. Sad.
  6. I’m getting to the point where I’d rather they move on from Perez than Sogard. Both would be ideal but Perez is just infuriating to watch hit.
  7. I’d rather give up Peralta and Burnes + for Thor than include Hiura.
  8. Gonna strike out 27 throwing 350 pitches. Then we can trade him for Thor.
  9. Sunday games have just been the worst. On a day I like to relax and watch the game, they have put up some real stinkers.
  10. I’m suggesting that Pina becomes the backup to Nottingham. It’s nothing against Kratz he’s just not in the plans. Good chance he doesn’t even get picked up.
  11. I can see why Votto is such a great hitter. He doesn’t have to swing unless it’s a cockshot.
  12. The ball bounced at the base of the wall in left CF. Let’s be a bit realistic here. I know times are tough after dropping one game in a row yesterday.
  13. Not everyone is the same. Different strokes, for different folks.
  14. Looked terrible at the plate yesterday. Made a mental error at first. Also, Counsell has let everyone know that he’s “big” guy and that those guys need days off. So should I expect we sit Cain if he has 1 bad game at the plate? Aguilar is looking like the NL MVP right now, he needs to be playing every day You could jump to that conclusion if you stopped reading my post after the first sentence.
  15. What are his warts other than an injuries not to his elbow or shoulder? Are those not big enough warts for ya? They are for me.
  16. Looked terrible at the plate yesterday. Made a mental error at first. Also, Counsell has let everyone know that he’s “big” guy and that those guys need days off.
  17. The guys a hitter. They’ll come around. He’s already made an impact. I don't think I'm that guy, but hanging your hat on a .240 lifetime hitter while talking how Sogard is garbage is showing us your bias. Sogard and Miller both are hanging on for dear life in the majors right now. Dude, I don’t think you could define bias from what I read in your posts. This is too comical.
  18. Because we are giving up those players, who could be very impactful very soon, for a guy with a lot of warts and who will start costing quite a bit of money each year. It just doesn’t make a lot of sense to me. I wouldn’t of traded Braun or Fielder as minor leaguers and I don’t want to trade Hiura.
  19. The guys a hitter. They’ll come around. He’s already made an impact.
  20. Same thing applies to Franklin. Can just wait until he’s healthy and cut him rather than pay him for 60 days at a mlb salary.
  21. If they can avoid then DL with Yelich, they are going to. Why do we continuously go down this road?
  22. I complete agree. I didn’t want Arrieta but I would’ve much rather had them toss $$ at him than toss prospects like Hiura. For me he is a can’t miss bat.
  23. I mean it just feels like they are settling for the 5th-6th seed in a terrrible eastern conference.
