  1. Villar! That’s a big hit for us. Get off to a good start.
  2. [sarcasm]Foe list.[/sarcasm]
  3. I don't hate the actual dog, I hate the mascot version of the same dog. I hate the actual dog. I love dogs more than humans and for some reason this made me laugh.
  4. Braun is the only healthy outfielder we have.
  5. Tuning out for the night. Team wasn’t ready for a ballgame.
  6. What the Mets did to Davies tonight is what I envisioned for this Brewers offense.
  7. If it doesn’t turn around on the road trip, fire Coles.
  8. Anyone know our ground ball percentage as a team? Seems like we are beating it into the ground a lot this year so far.
  9. He can't get separated from defensive backs and you basically have to throw him open on his limited routes. It is part of the reason Jordy is no longer a Packer. Why would we even go down this road? Makes no sense.
  10. Not even necessary, since the players will be robots long before then. Won't the rain cause them to rust?
  11. Or we will be able to control the weather like in this blockbuster movie.
  12. And those advanced stats about Jeter were pretty correct. He was a pretty bad shortstop with very limited range. Rafael Palmeiro won a gold glove in a season in which he played 28 games at first base, so are you really basing defensive prowess off of gold gloves won? Most of the guys that vote on that don't even know if the guys they're voting on have even played the position. Unless you were meaning to be sarcastic, in which case, use the blue font, and make it obvious. I really thought it was laid on pretty thick with the hashtag...
  13. Advanced stats said Jeter was terrible for years and he has many gold gloves so screw advanced stats. #RyanBraun4Life
  14. Yelich is the player we are trying to move towards while Ozuna feels like the player we are moving away from.
  15. I guess what would stop them? If they are doing it inside of the rules they have, then it is fair game.
  16. Don't know about that. There definitely weren't as many guys who threw heat, but Walter Johnson and Smoky Joe Wood were known to at least have upper 90s heaters. I was joking but I have doubts that they threw in the upper 90's. Probably low 90's but not for long as they were complete game type pitchers. Huge difference to today's game is that these guys paced themselves to pitch a complete game, every time out.
  17. OPS plummeted to .985 and WAR to 5.2 in his last season as a Yankee at age 39. What a loser. Weren't they basically playing slow pitch softball back then?
  18. There might be some comments because people want to see him start hitting but I doubt it is a panic. We just need him to be his steady self so this team scores more runs. There is no reason for this offense (when healthy) not to be putting up some serious runs. Just too talented to continue averaging 3 runs a game.
  19. I enjoy Pizza Ranch's chicken more than their pizza.
  20. I'll be waiting when June 12 comes around and Braun's line is around .270/.330/.800. In case nobody noticed this team as a whole has started the season out absolutely atrocious and save for heroics several times we'd have a really bad record. .800 slugging percentage? That IS heroic. I can't even to that on video games
  21. I can see that now, but that was not my intent. Have been around here for 10+ years and 6,000 posts, have never been one to post provacative stuff. Until now, I think the closest I've come to that is putting Peralta #1 on my Top 25 list. That is funny (bolded). And I totally believe you on intent.
  22. Haha, Grisham or Ray Raking? Too much. Braun's bad year as you say is their Ceiling "Raking" year. I wouldn't write off those two players just yet. And you couple that with Braun's age and injury history and it could very well happen. It is not like those two players do not have a good skill set. Just need to put it together on the field now.
